"We had previously used Phil to install an upstairs central AC system when we first bought our circa-1928 house.  After about a year, we realized we needed a new boiler installed, and got the best quote out of about 3, from his company.  Further, his quote was the most detailed and convincing that would be kept within budget.  He outlined the particular unit that would be required and the various components of the install, as well as the fairly specific date range he could come out.  This was in summer of 2014, and the install was set for mid-autumn.   <br /> Due to his scheduling, the install was delayed a short period, maybe a week.  The installation also took over a week, due to various other conflicts in his schedule during this time, so the install didn't happen all at once. That was not an issue since heat wasnt needed during that time.  If there is one thing I would mention, is that due to his location (Woodstock) and relatively few members of his company, it is not always possible to get instant service the way you would with a large brand-name HVAC company.  However, Phil makes up for it with his genuine interest and knowledge of each particular project, as well as reasonable cost.  <br /> In this case, Phil and his coworker Tommy spent a number of days completely rebuilding my boiler, since previously there were 3 zones serviced by 2 different boilers.  So they had to disassemble each old boiler, then install the new one along with the necessary pipes and pumps. This process appeared to be relatively complex and they performed the work with skill.  The new system is impressive and has greatly improved heating quality and efficiency in our house. Recently he came out to do a free maintenance check up on the system to ensure it was properly working. <br /> I feel confident that I will continue to use Philco for future HVAC needs, and strongly recommend him. <br />"

"When I found my water heater leaking in the garage on a Sat. night, I called a plumbing service that advertises 24/7 service, mainly to find out if this was something that could wait until Mon, or if it was an emergency, as it was a slow leak and I still had hot water. They never called me back. So on Mon. morning, I searched plumbers and found Prestige and its many excellent reviews. I called Todd, who said he could swing by my house, take a look, and let me know what I should do. In less than 20 min he was there, found out my tank had rusted through and without immediate intervention would start seeping through the wall. He shut off the gas to the tank, drained it, and turned off the water to the tank right then and there. He was back the next afternoon and all the work was done in less than 3 hours. I highly recommend him and he has a customer for life."

"Our visit to the store, went well. They had a large showroom dedicated to appliances. The staff were professional and knew the products. We had already researched and chosen the various appliances we wanted. Their prices were in line with the big store prices (where both had the items we needed). We paid a partial payment upon placing the order and the balance after the appliances were installed. They were able to schedule the installation as soon as our new cabinets were installed. Also, the day they installed all the appliances everything was chaotic - the cabinet people came late so there were a lot of people trying to work in a limited space - the S and W guys were very cooperative and took it all in stride. <br /> They were courteous and professional from beginning to end.We will refer others to them at any opportunity.
