He explained it would never need maintenance (as, of course, wood does), and all I'd ever have to do is just hose it down. After having me describe the problem over the phone, he arrived with the parts he felt would solve it, but after checking everything on the washer, he determined that the "timer" needed replacing, which he did not have. He promptly tracked one down on his phone, went out and bought it, and returned in about an hour to fix the washer. Between diagnosing the problem, getting the part, and completing the repair, it took about 3 to 4 hours.His fee was very reasonable (the initial service call was only $35.00.)
