"We had a total of three estimates done. Two were within a very close range of each other. We decided to go with these people because they included the electrical work and cleaning after the job was done in their price.  Our initial contact with Mr. Kuehn and Wes was on the 5th of March. This is when we signed the contract. He said people would come on the 26th of March at 9 to do the work. True to his contract the people showed up on that date at 9 in the morning.  <br />    There were a total of 5 people who came to work and that is what they did. While some were hanging plastic to keep the dust down others were filling bucket full of stone to bring to the basement. This is an extremely dirty job since the basement floor has to be dug up and tubing put in with stones along our back wall. While one person did one job the others did another, all the while cleaning up as much as possible along the way. They carried stone and cement through my laundry room and kitchen for a total of close to 6 hours without making hardly any dust or dirt. They were extremely thorough and did an amazing job in a short amount of time.  This pass weekend we had heavy rain and snow showers and no water seeping out of the blocks and no water in the basement of any kind. This crew of people did a wonderful job and we were so relieved that everything went smoothly. I truly have never seen someone do such a messy job and not make hardly any dirt. These people truly know what they are doing. <br />   I only have one minor complaint. There was such a long time between when the initial contract was sign and the actual work was done that I thought a reminder call might have been in order just to make sure everyone was on the same page. This could have been done two or three days before the crew showed up.  Overall we are very pleased with the work. <br />"

"I gave a list of work that I wanted done - a "must do" and a "like to do" - for estimates.  I was not home when the estimate was prepared but one tree I wanted taken down was only estimated for pruning. When the crew arrived, we discussed the specifics of the pruning and the tree in question and the foreman agreed that the tree really needed to come down, not just be pruned.  They had to come back for the stump grinding and there was some scheduling confusion in that the grinder arrived on a day I wasn't expecting and one of my vehicles was blocking the way so they had to come back another time.  It was a very minor annoyance - definitely not something that would prevent me from hiring them again. <br />"

"Rich Zeppa is a remarkable craftsman. We called him, made an appointment and he showed up precisely at the agreed upon time. We told him what he wanted to do and he actually took notes so nothing would be left to chance. Since Rich does a lot of work in our area he was able to recommend a close residence for us to visit so we could see an example of his work. Even though the work was completed several years ago, it still looked brand new. Rich has his preferred vendors. If you use them he can give you great pricing and materials. However he is comfortable using materials from other vendors if you choose do do so. Rich respected the fact that he was working in our home. To that end he protected our carpets and hardwood flooring. He also cleaned up all waste everyday. Mr. Zeppa has an eye for detail. For example, the shower tile had a small flaw that we could barely see. Most would have installed it anyway. Rich returned it immediately and reordered the replacement. The shipment arrived in just a few days. He inspected every tile to make sure is met his standard before installing it. Our last visit involved paying him. This was one check I was very pleased to write. We want hm to come back to do our kitchen. I think having someone come back to do more work is the strongest form of a testimonial. <br />"
