"CK and Chris did my second floor deck replacement that was rotted all through. He was prompt showing up and gave us an above fair estimate compared to the other quotes we got. He and his team set to work and helped me by filing all permits and designs with the township and HOA. They worked fast and were extremely focused on the details. I could tell CK was a company of integrity and even built it more sturdy than what was required by the township. Little extras, like joist tape and framing promise to make my deck last long beyond its expected lifetime. I had an issue with one board after it curled and Chris came back right away and replaced it free of charge I would highly reccomend CK outdoor creations for decks, and I have referred him to many with how beautiful his work on decks and patios work. 10 out of 10 would reccomend"

We do NOT use subcontractors for building our decks. When you hire Russett Deck Professionals for your project, that’s who will be doing the designing, obtaining building permits, and the actual construction. We are specialized deck builders and only build using the best of materials on the market. When using composite materials, we will give you the best advice we can to help you make the right choice for your deck. We do not push any particular brand of material on you just to help us. It’s your deck, it’s your choice! We will obtain any and all building permits and supply you with drawings for your HOA approvals. "Essentially, I paid $3000.00 for absolutely nothing, as my deck leaks more than before the work was done. I hired Tom to put up a waterproof ceiling on the bottom of deck to protect the patio beneath. He "completed" the work in February and my deck has been leaking like a sieve ever since. After many phone calls, over many months, I finally got him to come out and "fix" it in June, and the next rain proved that his "fix" was a complete failure, with my patio flooded with water. I have to keep a kiddie pool and a large plastic tote on my patio to catch all the water that cascades from my "waterproof ceiling." To date he has not repaired the leaks or given me any indication of when, or if, he will do so. Russett Decks is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with -- just terrible work and even worse customer service."

"I wish all businesses were as easy, pleasant, and honest to deal with as Excel. I wanted to expand an existing vinyl fence and add two gates. The Project Coordinator at Excel listened to what I wanted and made some suggestion, but did not try a hard sell for goods or services. He explained in detail what the work crew would do and how the fence would be installed. Out of all the companies I contacted Excel was the only one to provide a written estimate. The price was reasonable and comparable to what other companies were quoting. The workers who responded to install the fence and gates were great. It was obvious they worked together in the past and were comfortable with each other. The supervisor went over everything with me before they started the job. He explained in detail what they would be doing. After the job was done the supervisor walked around the entire project with me, while explaining again what they did and answered questions. They definitely made sure I was happy with everything before they left. Another thing worth mentioning is their office and administrative staff. I made a point to stop by their office one day before the project. I believe the way an office appears and is run tells a lot about a business. Excel has a nice, clean office with very friendly and professional staff. A live person answers their phone, instead of getting an automated message, prompting you to press a number. It was a great experience from beginning to end. I will definitely use Excel for future projects."
