"I purchased a new shower faucet and cartridge for the repair. Donny told my wife and I to save on the new faucet and wait till we did some wall/tile repair if we were to remodel in the near future. Rather than following our first wishes he may have saved us around $400, or more by being honest and a good guy. We had the cartridge replaced for our Moen faucet. It operates very well and no drips (bad for the Cat though!). We had additional savings when we returned the faucet to Menards. The cartridge was about $36-$39. We have used Randy Lane several times (maybe 5-7 times) and were quite satisfied. They have been our plumber of choice for several years. This was our first plumbing work completed by Donny. Not our last for sure!"

"Once again Vincent outdid himself.  I called Friday because of a very leaking valve in the basement that led to a very leaky outdoor faucet.  At the last minute I added replacing the strainer in our kitchen sink.  Vincent was able to come the very next day, even though it was Saturday, with no extra charge.  He went to Menards for the parts for the sink as it was a non standard setup.  Then he removed the old valve downstairs and replaced it with a new type that is easier to use and does not leak.  This required cutting copper tubing and soldering the new piece in.  Then he replaced some worn parts on the outside faucet, and replaced the kitchen sink strainer making sure the sink would now old water and there were no leaks under the sink.  The very old and hard to access outside faucet is still dripping, but he offered to come back to check on it.  He was trying to repair it without ripping up any walls- but it is 28 years old.

"We moved into an older house in south Minneapolis 11 years ago and have been updating it a little bit at a time. Plumbline Builders have now completed two not-so-little jobs for us. The first was to move and replace all of our upstairs windows. That project is reviewed elsewhere on this site. It went well enough that we selected Plumbline for our latest project without asking anyone else for a bid. They replaced a leaky flat roof and deck over our garage along with all the first story gutters and downspouts. The results are spectacular! Along the way, Plumbline worked with us to keep both the cost of the job and the impact on our lives to a minimum. In a year or two, we will be remodeling our kitchen and we have every intention of hiring Plumbline for the job."

"I found water damage in the morning and after considerable investigation, determined that it was from a pinhole leak in a water pipe in the basement.  I had to turn off the main water valve to stop the leak, so I needed to repair this quickly.  I have used Burkhardt Plumbing before with success, so I called them again.  They were able to come that afternoon ( I called around noon) and Dean arrived within the promised time slot.

He fixed the leak, and also advised me that it was probably due to insulation around the pipe which was held in place by small wires.  The insulation around the wire itself was decaying (probably installed 40 years ago) and could have caused an electrostatic charge (?) between the two metals which would corrode the copper pipe.  I appreciated this extra information, so that I can remove the rest of the insulation and prevent future leaks (the insulation was put on to prevent condensation and is no longer necessary).   I thought the cost of the repair was fair.

"Everything went according to plan and they were helpful and professional.  Painted door and fixed weather trimming.  While waiting for the first coat to dry they patched up some nail pops and took care of looking at a few other small items."

"From the selection process to installation, everyone we dealt with at Paramount Granite did an exceptional job.  They were very helpful in our selection process.  The installation was done on time and beautifully.  As an architect, I would recommend Paramount to my clients.  As a homeowner and consumer, I would recommend Paramount to my family and friends.

"We had two old bathroom vanity faucets that were falling apart and corroded and we bought a $99  Big Deal from Jim to replace them with faucets I had purchased. Unfortunately, I bought the wrong size (8" centers instead of 4", doh!) and Jim said he would go ahead and dismantle one of them and come back to finish the install at no charge when I was able to get the proper faucet. It took a week or so to get the faucets in hand and to coordinate our schedules but Jim came when promised and finished the job, he even stayed longer than two hours total to get it all finished and only charged us for a part that I had failed to pick up from Home Depot (which he had on hand). It went very smoothly,  I would recommend Jim.
