"I prayed that God would send us honest people to deal with subterranean termites swarming inside one of the rooms in our home last Friday and He did. I left my contact information with several companies and asked people I knew if they had any referrals I could call. No one knew of any referrals and I received about 5 call backs of which Miguel from Horizon was one of them. Some of the other companies were able to come out and check, but not until Monday or Tuesday of the following week. I spoke to Miguel and told him the situation. I was so grateful and relieved when Miguel said he would make time to stop by and check out the issue. Miguel arrived at the scheduled time and I proceeded to show him the termite issue inside the house. He graciously offered to inspect the house underneath to assess the termite swarming issue and inspected the entire home and detached garage for subterranean and wood eating termites as well. He was very thorough in explaining his findings and the service his company provided to take care of the situation. I was overwhelmed with gratitude by Miguel’s care, concern, courtesy and honesty and I felt the price was very fair and reasonable for the work that needed to be done. I hired Miguel and his company to do the job the following Tuesday. They came as scheduled and completed the job, detailed just as we had contracted. They went above and beyond by removing wood debris that was left under our house from previous construction projects before we purchased the home.  Jim came out and did a thorough inspection.  I was very impressed with his knowledge and honesty. I have dealt with several termite inspectors in the past 30 years, and he is the best I've seen. It turns out that there were a few termites in exterior the trim boards and siding, but none under the house.  The other company wanted $7,000 to tent the house and garage.  Hi Tech said no tenting was needed, and quoted a price less than one quarter of that amount.
