"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"The repairs cost $820. I was dismayed that the repair cost was this high for a piece of equipment that was only 3 years old, and had been maintained as per recommendations. "They typically last much longer" I was told by the company, but there was no reduction in the price for the repairs. I found that the company was frequently slow to respond to phone calls, and the estimated repair time of 3-4 weeks took almost 3 months."

"I called Hartley's on a very wet, rainy morning to tell them that I was having ongoing problems with my water pressure. They were the company that had put in our system, and had come in the past to replace some worn things. ( Mr. Hartley Sr. had also been to my home the prior year to check things out, but at that time, I didn't do anything, as I had to check with my husband) Well, on this particular day, I spoke to Aaron Hartley in the a.m. and before 1 that afternoon, he had men out here, in the pouring rain, accessing the problem and repairing it.  I thought I may have to go through the expense of going deeper which ment lots of $$, however, after testing and all, we decided that the problem was with the pump.  They quickly pulled up the old, put in the new, as well as checked out the holding tank, and other faucets and things throughout the house.  By 5 p.m. they were done, and I was thrilled to finally have real water pressure in my home again!  Then, to top things off, Mr. Hartley followed with phone calls over the next couple of weeks to make sure that things were going well.  When I called them regarding the chlorine added to the water after the install, both Mr.  Hartley and his wife gave me tips on what I could try before using it for my coffee..lol It would have been very easy for this company to take full advantage of me and tell me that I needed to go deeper and spend more $$, but they truely wanted to do what was best for me. This means a lot to me, and I would not hesitate to call them in the future, with any questions, concerns, or problems that I may have that they are able to handle."

"I found Dorian Dyer's original paintings to be thought provoking and yet peaceful at the same time. <br /> He creates scenes of a simple and pure love using subjects such as eagles, geese, buffalo, people, the Earth, and the cosmos.  All of Dorian's art expresses a connection with one another and all life.   <br /> With an initial gaze at Dorian's paintings you may see an abstract or New Age piece of art, but when you relax and take a few moments to look deeper, an inner knowing of the masterpiece of all life will come forward.  There is love, beauty, and a gentle reminder of God's presence within each piece of art. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Stoneham, ME

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
