"We called Appliance King (Craig) to repair our GE Profile refrigerator. Over the phone, Craig said the major repair issues with this model are typically either the motherboard, invertor, or compressor. The prices quoted to replace the board and/or invertor were reasonable, especially since he only uses factory OEM parts. Craig arrived exactly on time. It took an hour for him to disassemble and test each component, and to determine that it was a bad compressor. He said the compressor could be replaced but a new refrigerator would be the better choice. We were only charged a nominal service call fee which was more than reasonable given the amount of time and travel it took. I spent some time talking with Craig after the service call. He is an experienced old timer, honest, hardworking, ethical, and a breed of businessman rarely seen any more. If an appliance repair is needed, give Craig a call.
