"We couldn't be happier with Dave's overhaul of our fireplace. His attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. We feel so lucky to have found him after another contractor flaked out on us. He came to the rescue & did whatever it took to get the job done on time and on budget. He is highly skilled and capable. Several times during the job he suggested things that would enhance the finished product. In doing so he created more work for himself. These upgrades probably added a full day of additional work. He didn't change the cost for the job, he just wants his customers to be happy. His attention to detail and cleanliness blew our minds. He spent a full day getting the room taped off to prevent dust from spreading throughout the house. A full day!?!? And it paid off when the work was done...we're not even hiring a cleaner. More than anything Dave's got a good heart, my wife and I genuinely enjoyed meeting and working with him. (Note: no AI was used in writing this review!)"

"Justin was hired to complete minor plumbing repairs totaling $360 paid via Cash App immediately. He was to return to repair one his mistakes as well as provide me a receipt for services that I paid that were completed. After several text messages and a couple of calls reaching out yo him, he did not respond to my text or calls. He never returned after payment. I gave him 3 Stars for lack of professionalism and poor best business practices. "

Kim’s communication about John and the rest of the team was also outstanding—clear, timely, and helpful throughout. John stood out for his flexibility and responsiveness, always ready to answer questions or consider suggestions. Fortunately, our project only encountered a few minor curveballs, all of which were handled smoothly and confidently. What impressed me most was John’s pride in his work. One day, he noticed a small detail that most wouldn’t have caught—but it bothered him enough to rebuild it until it was perfect. That kind of care and commitment is exactly what you want in someone working on your home."

"Lester and his team did a great job on our bathroom remodel. He is very detail oriented: the insides of the walls were just as neat and clean as the final finish of the walls, tile, and fixtures. And he was very easy to work with. We hand built a custom cabinet to replace the old bathroom closet. For many contractors, having a homeowner perform part of a remodel could have been difficult for them. Lester took it all in stride and adjusted his workflow to let us do our part. We are very pleased with the final result. We recommend American Bath Works highly and would hire them again in a minute."

"From start to finish I had a great experience with Carlos and all of the guys that worked for him. I previously had a relationship with him because he was the Contracted Painting Company for the new house that we moved into (Feb 2017) so I knew from that experience that all of his staff had fantastic attention to detail. I spoke with him about my project unaware that he also did renovations and was impressed with his level of knowledge and timeliness in getting back to me with any questions. He was available throughout the project and tried to keep things moving as quickly as possible which is not always easy when you're relying on plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc. We had a few hiccups along the way, like any significant project has, but Carlos always acted as quickly as possible to get them resolved and never just added additional cost without first having a conversation with me. We went from a finished, but unused, space in the basement to now having our own bar that most pub landlords would be proud of! All of this staff were extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would definitely work with him again on any future projects."

"Veglia Remodeling was wonderful to work with. Jeff gave me an estimate for the labor/work on my bathroom remodel. He also suggested vendors to work with and suggested meeting them to choose materials (which was the other cost of course). That was very helpful. Jeff was always available via text or phone. Mostly text. He was the point person if I had concerns. Always gracious. Happy to weigh in if I wasn't sure about something. He has a number of people who he works with and they were all very professional and everyone always cleaned up when they left for the day. I felt very fortunate to have Jeff commit to my project since my bathroom is extremely small (two people standing in it is a crowd) and it can be tough to find someone who will work on a small project."
