He saved us money in that he basically designed the bathroom and made updated suggestions for which we would otherwise have had to hire a designer. He continually steered us in the right direction regarding tile and material choices. His crew was also extremely tidy and Tom was always completely accessible (unlike many other contractors) ...06824which was very reassuring. Tom went out of his way to find a special magnetic drain that i had spotted in a magazine that was no longer available. It was a lovely surprise and we have been thrilled with the great job. We have already hired him to renovate our kitchen this spring. Highly recommend!"

"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

They were constantly communicating with us during the entire process to discuss ideas and confirm the plan / our vision for the space. They treated our home as though it was their own, taking care not to damage other areas during the work and also cleaning up after every day was completed. We also decided to install a new slider to our deck where one didn't exist before. Adam helped in confirming the size to be ordered and they did another great job.
