"I've used DiGiorgi a lot while living in my parents' house: roof, siding, gutters, bathroom remodel. I bought a house myself which needed some work and got an estimate from Dave. When my parents had their work done, DiGiorgi didn't do garage doors. What a shame. They had a horrible time with the installation of two doors and one opener (one door is operated manually). The rest of work is yet to be scheduled, so I will review each "project" separately. Today the door and opener were installed by Jeff (who came previously to measure) and Ed. They came 15 min early (I expected this, having used their services before) and the whole project took from about 7:45 am until about 3:30 pm or so. The guys were great: friendly, professional, neat, knowledgeable....they even swept up when done! The door itself is like a piece of furniture. So different from the cheap, uninsulated doors my parents got. The garage was actually getting warm once the door was closed (garage is attached to the house) and the temperature was in single digits in the morning. The LIftMaster opener is beyond belief: it's so quiet that I didn't even know it was operating. Again, quite different compared to my parents' opener. The products were obviously of very high quality and the installation was clean and neat and everything worked and looked great at the conclusion of the day. The whole house literally looks 80% better with the addition of this door. I look forward to completion of the rest of the improvements we have yet to schedule (snowstorms have disrupted things) in the upcoming months. <br />"

The work he performed in 3 weeks was: Build a new shower/tile with a design/create a shower bench/install shower panel/tile behind the vanity with the design trim/install the vanity/move plumbing, gas and electrical for the shower and vanity with light fixture/tile the floor/install a stackable washer and dryer/build out a wall to divide the storage area and heat unit/install a sliding barn door/paint the bathroom, main room and hallway up to the kitchen door/ installed 3 windows, an air conditioner and installed recessed lighting in the bathroom/installed interlocking vinyl flooring in the storage area, main room and stairs (repaired two broken stairs and lots of extras, e.g. installed a lighting fixture in the hallway by the stair landing, a make up/shaving mirror in the bathroom, installed window treatments and assembled a 70 inch TV storage cabinet). We have booked him for future projects. We highly recommend Domenick and his team."

It was amazing how Nixon and his crew removed and replaced all the 50 yr. old trim and created matching moldings inside &amp; out. Everyone worked non-stop and were delightful, respectful of property and very easy to welcome into my home. Nixon is on site, very experienced, and I appreciated his guidance in choosing new materials. He gave choices, explanations &amp; prices on the new trim so I could stay on budget. The doors and new trim inside and out look fabulous because of the high quality workmanship of Nixon and his crew. I will be calling Nixon for any future projects!"

"Simply put, Bill builds from the heart. We had a major renovation that entailed reconfiguring the entire 2nd floor with the addition of a bed and bathroom. We also had our 1st floor reconfigured with a wall removal and a master ensuite established. "Make sure to read addendum.....these issues were resolved........Do not make last payment until all work don !!!!! $1300.00 worth of damage to my Brazilian cherry floors, during full kitchen reno and some tiling in living room. Contractor said he would fix.I have two piles of wood in my office that are the wrong size. Damaged wood held together by blue tape for over 2 months now during the holidays. Contractor no longer returns calls nor texts. I also came home to a kitchen blind that was ruined and would no longer open and they never even mentioned it, probably hoping I would not notice it. Meanwhile I spent over $30,000 on kitchen reno and have another $40,000 to $60,000 I wanted to do with them. I was also left with an unfinished wood ceiling border that separates kitchen space from living room. Looks awful. I have been waiting months for the repair. I will admit, i gave contractor too much time to fix due to the relationship i thought existed but that left me with damaged floors and an unfinished ceiling border and just like my friends and relatives, a bad story to tell. Addendum 2/21/17 Company made themselves available to me and corrected the wrongs this weekend. The repaired floor looks amazing. A combination of lighter colored wood with the original darker color wood looks wonderful. The workers are top notch and you do get a nice value for your buck. I have changed my ratings based on the work that was done overall. My original rating was due to my anger but the Solomines quickly resolved the issues once contact was made. I would recommend to friends and neighbors ."
