"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"We highly recommend Kinsella Built! We appreciated their work so much that we have recommended them to all of our friends in need of construction. Now that is the true testimonial! We had a significant project (7 months total)- we put on an addition, created an open concept downstairs & finished our basement. Yet despite the breadth of the work - Kinsella and Team showed an immense work ethic from start to finish. Every day they were there at 7AM and put in a full day. The quality of their work was also bar none. We have seen many new builds/other construction projects where the contractors cut corners or create a shoddy product. Kinsella, on the other hand, creates a solid, structurally sound, superior quality work. They were also very good from a communication perspective. We have worked with many contractors who have ghosted us or we have had to run down. "Working with Jack Whealan means that you're working with the best. My family had a rather complicated project that included 3 major phases along with painting and refinishing existing floors. Not only did Jack complete the majority of the project independently, but he did so while seamlessly coordinating subcontractors to keep the process running smoothly. Jack kept us in the loop every step of the way, and delivered a product that is superior to any other project we've had done. Jack answered all of our questions around the clock, and made sure we had the information behind his answers. He provided great insight about so many things in the home (whether they dealt with the new build or not). You can tell that Jack is a person who genuinely cares about the work he is doing. He is meticulous and detail oriented, and he won't install something in your home that he wouldn't put in his own home. If I had to go back before this project was started and choose a contractor to work with, I can 100% say I wouldn't choose anyone but Jack. You seriously can't go wrong with Strong Builders. "Wallpaper removal = A; plastering = A-; painting: C+. We were disappointed in the overall experience. They were kind enough and their wallpaper removal and plastering was great, really solid—but on the final day, they rushed with the painting to get it done on the original time frame, and while one room was top notch, another was above average, and the bathroom was very sloppy. There was wall paint on our bathroom tiles, vanity, and shower; unsanded/unsmoothed plaster chunks that were just painted right over and were unsightly and lumpy; peeling caulking; parts where the paint was crooked or misaligned with baseboards; paint dribbles on floor and utensils on counter; and they did a poor job cleaning up, with plaster dust everywhere, paint to be cleaned up in the bathroom, and paint and plaster dust in, on, and around our cabinets. One of the crew members’ painting skills was just rushed and poor and it detracted from the others’ skills. By the time the job was over they rushed to get out of the house and did not carefully complete a walkthrough."

Their prep work was outstanding: power washing, scraping, sanding, patching and priming. They were very neat and respectful of our property by protecting our plants and cleaning up the debris at the end of each day.
