"We bought our 9 year old home 2 years ago. Shortly after we moved in, the large windows above our front door and over our garage started leaking. Initially we caulked the areas where the water was pooling up - although by the looks of the windows, this had been done many times. The first round of caulking lasted about 2 weeks. We then called out some 'handymen' to assess the situation, they each did their own version of a 'fix' which was basically to re-caulk the windows on the outside, one of the 'handymen' felt they should even caulk the 'drain holes'. After almost 2 years of having to bring in a ladder, place and remove towels after each rain storm, we called Kevin at Ahearn Construction. <br /> I explained to Kevin what was happening. He felt confident he knew what was going on. A few days later, he came out and confirmed his initial thoughts. The windows were not 'seated' correctly when they were installed and because of the intense caulking that was done prior to us buying our home and the 'handymen' that came out after we bought our home, there were even more issues. <br /> We set up a date for the repairs - unfortunately due to rain, this date was moved a few times. Kevin and his team - George and Anthony - came out on a Monday morning and finished up Tuesday afternoon. <br /> On Wednesday morning - after a night of heavy rain - we still had some water issues (not nearly like before). I called Kevin and he immediately came over to check things out. After consulting with his team, they decided to take out both windows and reinstall them. <br /> It's been almost 2 months now and we have not had any issues with leaking. <br /> We would definitely call Kevin and his team (George and Anthony) in the future. <br />"
