"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

They were able to start the work the next day and finished it in a timely manner. They did an excellent job repairing the ceiling and matching the texture and color. "I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. I will be hiring Eugene and Honeycomb Construction again for future home projects. Thank you!"

This is the second time I’ve hired them to do work around my home and again I was very, very pleased. (The first time was a remodel my master and main bathrooms. They turned out beautiful and I couldn’t have been happier) All the people involved with building my fence were very pleasant and responsive. They were able to work around some wooden plant boxes and low decking that were built closely to or attached to the ordinal fence without damaging them. "I needed a new shower door installed in my new house. I knew I could do it myself but decided this was a job I could have a handyman do for me. We spoke on the phone and he quoted me a price. Knowing how long it took me to install the last shower door I installed, it seemed fair. They showed up and they got the door installed in about 90 minutes - way faster than I anticipated. Crew was professional and prompt. With the price that we agreed on and the amount of time it took, the price came to about $243/hour so definitely more than I would typically pay for a handyman. Still they did a good job. I'd use them again but will negotiate a bit better next time."

"This was just a very mixed experience. The owner was very responsive, very professional and very nice. We agreed on a price and date. The person in charge of the job was also very professional and very nice when we met to discuss details. I also liked both paint crews that worked in my house. However, when the job was over, I called about paint along the edges of my kitchen cabinets and about a spot in my bathroom that was not done well. The person who came to look at it repaired the spot in the bathroom and said that the kitchen cabinets needed to be caulked and then the person in charge of the job called me to say that they don't do caulking. Well, it was not caulking, it was paint on my cabinets. I have now noticed paint on the woodwork in the rest of the kitchen and in the upstairs hallway. I finally talked to the owner who said that they would come out to fix it, but I did not have time to schedule it at that time.There was also a misunderstanding about painting the woodwork in the living room. I assumed that they would and they didn't. That may have been my being new to hiring people to take care of my house, but they were not very nice when I called about it. Although someone did come and do the trim for free, but left some paint on the wood floor. Then there were just things that happen. I didn't check and the refrigerator ended up being unplugged for 3 days. There is a small dent in my bannister. There is a mark on my new kitchen floor from the refrigerator being moved. Generally they were so nice that I really wanted to be able to give a good recommendation. From the other reviews, my experience seems to have been an anomaly.
