John was extremely helpful and brought my vision of what I wanted into reality. He also provided some suggestions which proved to be extremely beneficial. He was quick and efficient with his work. John framed the space from floor to ceiling. John did framing, molding and trim, dry wall (in the space above the doors on both sides), sanded and painted. "We cannot say enough good things about Carpentry Plus. We were extremely pleased with their expertise, professionalism, and work. In addition, Brad and his family are so friendly and personable that we felt like they were old friends. We hired them to put vinyl siding on our 2-story wood house and 2-car garage. As the work proceeded we discovered that there was extensive water damage to the wood in several places on both the house and garage. These included the chimney, the three-season room, and the bottom plate around the perimeter of the garage walls. As a master carpenter Brad Green resolved these issues in a creative and effective way. After replacing all the rotted wood in these areas, he installed flashing around the garage and closed-in three-seasons room to help prevent future damage. The three-seasons room was in such seriously bad shape that it almost needed to be rebuilt. All these issues added a lot of extra work and time to the project. Brad let us know every step of the way what was happening with the job and we were grateful that Brad agreed to take the time to do the extra work--well beyond the original agreement. We have not had any water in the garage since the work was completed and we are so happy to have our three-seasons room repaired. "My wife and I moved from Ohio to Michigan in August 2013 and purchased a house that is in an ideal location for us.  However, the house had been foreclosed and empty for a couple of years and was in need of much repair.  The entire plumbing system had to be replaced - pipes, fittings, etc., hot water heater, and well tank.  New windows throughout were needed.  The front porch had to be replaced.  Additional repairs such as patching four holes in the kitchen ceiling and one large crack in the entrance hallway ceiling due to the porch support failing. Other items included installing a light/exhaust fan in the bathroom, gutters and downspouts, furnace repair and tune up, and removing a large motorized TV antenna anchored in cement.  <br /> <br />     I suppose that I could have found different people to do all those things.  However, I found E.B. Handyman on line.  When Troy came out to look at the house, he said they could do it all. E.B. Handyman employs their own people, but also contracts with others for some of the work they do.  I was also told that payment was not due until the jobs were complete.  After we finalized the work to be done, E.B. Handyman got it all done when they said they would.  The people who did the work were great craftsmen, polite, efficient, and never too busy to answer a question or to explain what they were doing and why they did it that way.    <br /> <br />    My wife and I are pleased with the results and would not hesitate to contract with E. B. Handyman again, should a need arise for such services. <br />"

Pricing was at the high end of the quote range, but not obscene, and what I received in return was a white-glove service using an enclosed trailer with an experienced professional. Complete inspection of the car before and after, with pictures noting the exact condition of the car, interior and exterior - including the milage and contents of the glove box. This is not a subcontracting / middle-man company like so many auto transport vendors are - they bid on and perform the work themselves through their well-established and successful freight business. I wouldn't hesitate to put another high-value automobile into their care."
