"As a repeat customer, I can say that Billy never fails to deliver great customer service at a great price. He is honest and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our sewage exit drain pipe after record rain. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. After the hole was dug he also noticed what could be another issue and upon further uncovering, he was 100% correct. Our pipe was semi disconnected just a bit further down the line. Taking care of that problem too while the hole was open saved us money and headaches! Our system is up and running well and the price was more than fair. If you want an honest, knowledgeable contractor, hire Amos!"

"This was a project I got done around 1997-98, a year or two after I moved into my current home. because I had water seeping into my basement. When the carpet got pulled up, it turns out the former owner had poorly refinished the basement, and the cement around the bathroom was deteriorating and falling into the red Georgia clay. I went with Trotter's estimate and got financing, since I could not afford to pay upfront. They told me they would put gravel around the drainage system. I did not realize this was not done until 2018-19 when I had a radon mitigation system installed at my house and when they dug up the area in the basement where the system was installed (up through the walls), the installer told me there was no gravel at all where it should have been. I was very disappointed that Trotter's employees did not do what they were supposed to do."

"We signed up with All Good Home Services through Lowe?s referral to replace the 10 year old HVAC system in our house. All Good came down assessed the old unit and proivded a quote to replace with a new system. In addition, they recommended to add new duct for intake and charged extra for that work as well. We signed the contract and awarded the work. The new unit they installed had problems with cooling and they upgraded to a larger system. However, that still did not resolve the cooling issue and the chillness in the house would not drop below 72 degrees. We never had problems with the old system with cooling and we lived in the house for more than 10 years. They had sent four technicians so far and they are not able to resolve the issue. Lately, when we turned on the heat during fall, the system does not work at all. Basically, after four months , six different technicians visit, no heat and no cooling after spending $10k. "

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Sunny-Side, GA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
