"I partnered with Atlanta Porch and Patio to bring my dream screened porch to life, and the final result is exactly what I had envisioned. The design is stunning, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. I’ve already spent countless hours enjoying the space, and I know it will be my go-to spot for relaxing at home. One piece of advice I’d offer: if you don’t already have a land survey, consider getting one before signing a contract. It will help uncover any potential obstacles early on, so you can make a fully informed decision before committing financially. The porch was absolutely worth the effort in the end, but there’s no guarantee your variance request will be approved if you require one. Communication with the builder required some follow-up on my part during the project, but overall, it was a positive experience. "PLEASE READ: Mark was great to work with in the beginning. After I did calculations for some items, Mark became angry and stopped communicating. Before construction could continue, I needed to get an electrician out because there was a real issue. Mark insisted there wasn't. After I insisted and called him out on his lack of communication, he said he was sending over his electrician the next morning. I cancelled plans and stayed home to wait on electrician. I never heard from Mark and he did not respond to texts. I called and he said there was nothing wrong and a new switch was installed. I called an electrician. There was an issue and the new switch was not installed. We also agreed that I would pay for flooring materials on main floor(lvp and underlayment) and Mark would demo and level kitchen and provide transition and baseboard. The floor is sloped in an area and there is a random square board and cuts in wood in more than one area. Mark used my old cheap laminate as a transition board on the stairs. This is not a joke or exaggeration. In addition, Mark did not use the underlayment that I purchased at his recommendation. Mark’s company cut and painted flooring on my gray stained covered porch without putting anything down. I have this on blink video occurring all day. There was paint and dust all over the porch. Mark does not apologize ever. The area had sharp small nails on stairs that were not even worked on. Mark said my request to correct this is ridiculous and said he would not repair slope. I’ve given him every opportunity to repair. I asked for an additional contract so we could let the contract guide us instead. Mark refused to add repairing of slope area and ignores me about underlayment. I asked him not to continue work or send his guys back for other work(He is doing insurance work on bottom floor.) Mark sent his guys twice after this and they just came into the house. I sent them home on Labor Day and texted Mark that I explicitly asked him not to be on the property until we had a signed agreement. His response was they could just work in garage. Update: 9/9/24! Mark is now demanding I take the reviews down or he won’t repair floors. The nightmare continues. He said he is putting a lien on my house. He says I am preventing him from doing the work but that is a complete lie. Read all details above to understand."
