"Anthony was very professional and knowledgeable about the outlet I needed installed in my bathroom. He did a great job and was able to install it the same day as my estimate. I would recommend him to anyone for electrical work and will definitely use him for all of my electrical needs. "

"I call and spoke with David . I asked do you charge to come out? He said no we do not. He sent 2 pros Bryan and Cody. They arrived promptly and were very friendly. 2 outlets in my master bath wasn't working. He came in tested the outlets and asked me if I have another bath. Yes, I replied He goes on the other bath press the GFI button came back to the master bath stated problem fixed. I was super happy!! So I asked how much ? He quoted me $200 I said for a 30 sec repair. I asked why are you charging me $200? You didn't have to repair anything. You just pushed a button. He then said the service charge is $200. I said, when I booked this appt I asked David was there a service call charge he said no. I then call David and asked what are you charging me for? He said the pro will reduce the cost when he come back inside. They wanted to replace the GFI outlet just to get $200 ridiculous!! I said no it's working . How much $125 not happy $75 would have been fair to me the customer"

"Outstanding service ! I supposedly had a plumber coming and called Frog Electric on short notice to tie in the project and do some other wiring including running unerground service to my camper. The owner ,James ,and his crew Tom and David and later two other employees whose names I did not catch did a great job .Thank you all."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Suwanee, GA

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
