"My new-to-me home built in 1947 was 95 degrees in the walk-up attic in the summer! It made downstairs hot, too. I just couldn't stand it any more. "The cost for roof cleaning was higher than other estimates I got, however I chose Bonn because I preferred their approach to fixing the deteriorating pipe jacks, which was also more expensive but was a more thorough solution to fixing the problem.  I think this was because Bonn does complete roofing work and not just cleaning so they were able to offer complete replacement of the pipe flashings instead of a quick fix. Bonn was prompt at providing an estimate for the job and a scheduling the work. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, was courteous and did a good job cleaning up.  Hand removal of the moss was slower than other methods but the crew did a good job. There was a problem starting the pump used to apply the moss barrier and the crew thought they'd have to come back and complete that part of the job another day. To my surprise they were back in about 1 hour and were able to complete all the work in the same day. I appreciated that the crew came back to finish because it was late in the day when they left so I hadn't expected they to return. I'm completely satisfied with all the work that was done.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Interior treatment took about 10min. The worker did a good job to explain what he was doing and the effect it would have. Due to weather he was not able to spray outside but mentioned that he would return when weather improved. Do not know if this ever occurred as there was no indication of a return visit."
