We visited Home Depot to comparison shop and although we didn't find the identical carpeting, we were able to see that Carpet Concepts pricing was competitive. The salesman then made an appointment to measure the rooms to be carpeted. I discussed whether the 12 or 15 foot width made more sense. We finally agreed on the 12 foot width which knocked about $250 off the final price and that's because the initial estimate specified the 15 foot width. Each installation is unique. The guy who removed the old carpeting was clever and efficient; he cut smaller pieces, rolled and removed them as he worked. Bonus: he was a talker and sounded just like Jeff Foxworthy. I asked him to say, "You know you're a red neck! The two installers were experienced and took pride in their work. I am very pleased with the seaming job.
