"Home Systems Appliance Repair did an excellent repair on my 18 year old panel-ready 42 inch Built-In counter depth GE Profile Refrigerator. The original GE tech who looked at the leak in the freezer evaporator a year ago, told me the refrigerator was non repairable because the "vacuum pump" retrofit part it needed was no longer available. After paying his $200 visit fee for a 2 minute consultation, he offered me a discount on a new GE refrigerator to fit which had not been built yet. Fast forward to now, GE does have 42 inch built-in counter depth Monogram side-by-side for $12,000 and $2,000 of Kraftmaid panels. Home Systems Appliance Repair cost me $400 to identify and fix a broken heat transfer tab in the freezer evaporator unit. I saved $15,000 - - not bad for paying Appliance Repair for a 2 hour job. "The technician showed up over 2 hours late, completely outside of the arrival window, and never once called or texted to let me know. I tried calling twice and got no answer. When he finally arrived, he said our dryer?s heating element needed to be replaced and quoted $275, but never mentioned that he only accepts cash. After the ?repair,? he left my laundry room a mess and didn?t even put all the screws back, I found 6 lying all over the floor. Only after the service was completed did he tell me he only takes cash and wouldn?t take my card. I paid $280, and he didn?t offer any change back. Now my dryer sounds worse than before and still doesn?t heat at all. Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of money. "
