"There aren't enough stars in the world for Jim and his crew, seriously. THE most amazing man and staff. He truly CARES about his clients, the work he is doing and how his workers present themselves. I have never dealt with such professionalism. I have been totally blown away by day 1. He committed to me that he would get the work done for us, although when they came to do the job my builder had just made a huge mess of EVERYTHING (that is an understatement, to say the least). Anyone else would have walked away from us, but not Jim! He said he told us he would do the job and that he job. Far and above! He SAVED us from the HUGE mess our terrible builder had made, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Even cleaned up everyone else's mess. Despite all the extra hours and days it took them! He was great at communication, letting me know what they were doing and when. Always on time, always courtious, and his employees are the most professional men I've ever worked work--again, blown away! He installed countertops throughout our house and did a waterfall in our kitchen. I have been having such a terrible time with our builder, I haven't once walked into our house and loved it or been happy--until TODAY, thanks to Jim and my beautiful countertops. "There was a 2-3 week delay in getting the windows for the enclosed patio but no fault of Porch Masters. <br /> In fact they got us a $500 reduction for the delay. Last June I called for some small additional work on the porch & they responded immediately. It should be noted that they provided many references prior to the job. I called on 3 who were all very happy with their work. My wife & I are very happy with the total experience & are glad to give this excellent review."

"I have hired Braswell Construction Group 3 separate times to do work on my house. They replaced my roof on a 5000 sq ft house, they did drywall work in my kitchen on the ceiling, and they also did several household repairs to help me sell my house. I have been dealing with Chris. He is very professional, always comes when he says he will (and from what I have experienced in GA with contractors, that means a lot!), and the pricing has always been fair. He talks through the process of each job and what needs to be done and gives you the pricing upfront. He has played an instrumental role in helping me sell my house. One of Chris's best attributes, he is always so pleasant to deal with. He has found cheaper solutions to problems other contractors were trying to charge me an arm and a leg to fix. I'm very glad I hired him to do all the work that was done. He is trustworthy!"

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"We would not recommend - the best priced quote is not always the best: <br /> Even though the company says they will cover the Beaufort area, we got the feeling that they preferred not to install windows here  If our property was in the Savannah area, we may have had a different experience. <br /> It was tough getting the office to return our phone calls.  Why so much advertising if your office personnel can?t handle it?? Decrease the advertising budget a bit and hire an additional assistant. <br /> The salesperson is a bit negative, but he does appear to know his stuff.  In April, after getting several other quotes, we choose this company because the price was right and they seemed to understand what we wanted and needed compared to the other quotes. <br /> We scheduled installation for September, and were told to follow-up in late July to ensure our window order goes in (thinking back, red flag - why wouldn?t they have just called me in July?) <br /> Contacted them in late July, and after a few weeks of back and forth run-around, we were told they couldn?t do our windows due to a lawsuit with Home Depot with our HOA.  Our HOA has no knowledge of a lawsuit with Home Depot and Window World never even contacted them.  I'm guessing this was just their story to back out from doing work in our area; we wish they would just not quote and schedule installations if they don't want to do work here.  <br /> This review is based on our experience with service only, and not the actual product. <br />"

"Our job was a complex one and there are things I would do differently, but Jamie is a great builder. All who build experience "builder's remorse" in some way, but our experience is overall very good. My recommendation for ANY builder is to meet with the manager and keep up with expenses yourself. There are uncontrollables like changes in lumber or concrete costs, etc. and you need to know about those things to keep close to target costs. Also, always anticipate at least 15-20% more than you expect. Jamie' s appeal is also one of the weaknesses: he is a nice guy. He treats his subs respectfully, but at times they take advantage of that and you may need to be the heavy to get them on task. That downside pales to his quality of work and his willingness to continue working to make it right."

"Salesman used hard sell tactics, but you can knock their quoted price quite a bit if you're willing to take the time to negotiate. Installer was professional. Once he was finished and left, the only remaining evidence of his having been there were the new windows. Over a year later, I've had no issues with the windows so far. I didn't see a dramatic drop in the electric bill but there was a noticeable difference."
