"I was going insane when a mole took up residence in my yard. My exterminator gave me contact info for Mole Masters. I researched them and sent an email. They offered to come over the very next day. It took several weeks - apparently I had a very smart one who managed to elude the traps. Finally in week 3 - SUCCESS! One little critter caused so much damage and I was so grateful to be rid of this thing. HIGHLY recommend these guys. They were quick to respond, quick to set up the traps and got the job done!"

"Having Jeramy come spray for spiders was the best idea ever. Spiders season comes around and I cringe and just get on high alert. This year I decided to have a treatment done to prevent having to deal with them. What a difference to years before and I now will be calling Jeramy every season. Mlm"

"Sean and Richard did an amazing job getting rid of the woodpeckers getting into our attic. They removed the existing woodpecker nests from the attic and installed "bird blocks" around our house in the likely places. They were very nice to work with and very professional. They came when they said they would and did an amazing job, for a fair price and finished quite quickly. They did everything they said they were going to do. They gave us a guarantee and encouraged us to contact him with any questions. I did text Sean, and he responded quickly with a good answer. I would highly recommend U.S. Animal Control of the Great Northwest!"

"They seem a little expensive. They are courteous and they come when they say they are going to come. They do what they say they are going to do. I think I am going to go with someone else."

"Heard a noise in my attic  thought it was a squirrel. I've been living at this residence  since 1977 never had this problem before, I called up the 1st pest-control place I found they said they would call me back never did. So I called up plateau pest control near my home in Covington,  they answer the phone right away they said they would be out at 6:30 PM. They could  have put me off to the following day but they didn't! A young man by the name of SOKHARA came out at 7 o'clock. He was very professional, knowledgeable and polite.

He quickly evaluate the situation went up in the attic and discovered I had  a rat situation. He  Quickly went up to the roof and sealed off all  exits , checked area for any possible entry-level. After that was done he went into the attic again  and put down 7 traps . He said he would be back next week to check  Everything out. He also laid down a trap near the house, he didn't wind up leaving until 10 o'clock. I wouldn't hesitate  calling  these guys up again .  They did a great job would highly recommend them."

"I hired Knight Wildlife for rodent control for two acres in the Summit area. Chase arrived on time and worked for hours on my mole problem. I had him return for a second time and he took the necessary time again. From too many mole hills to count to a few remaining, I am convinced he is the person for this project and I will use him in the future for all of my pest control needs."

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Tacoma, WA

You're likely to find nesting birds in external areas such as your gutters, eaves, porches, and chimneys. Some birds also nest in less obvious spots, like attics or even in your ventilation systems if they gain access. A reputable pro will conduct an inspection before starting any work to check for evidence of where birds may have set up roosting or nesting sites in your home.

Leaving birds to roost and nest on your home creates significant risks that affect both your home's structure and your well-being. The constant droppings, aggressive swooping, and persistent noise can damage siding, allow moisture intrusion, and stain exterior finishes. In addition, the birds’ pecking and droppings can spread diseases and parasites, which can lead to escalating repair costs and health hazards.

Yes, humane removal is possible and ensures that birds remain unharmed during the extraction process. Experts use proven methods to safely capture and relocate both birds and their nests to secure environments. Professionals employ stainless steel spikes as a deterrent while avoiding harmful techniques such as poisons or glue traps. You can rely on trusted specialists who strictly use safe, noninjurious methods, thereby protecting the birds while resolving the nuisance.

Yes, there are legal considerations when removing birds and their nests. You must adhere to strict local and state regulations, which safeguard protected native species during nesting season. Special authorization is required to remove protected birds, their nests, or eggs under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observing these legal mandates avoids violations and ensures safe, responsible removal.

To prevent birds from returning after nest removal, you can implement deterrent methods. Installing stainless steel spikes creates a secure barrier that prevents birds from roosting without causing injury. In contrast, loose nets may entangle birds and other wildlife, creating additional hazards. A trusted professional will choose and install the optimal method to keep your home bird-free.

A bird’s nest remains viable for a period that depends on the species. The construction phase concludes within 2 days to 3 weeks, followed by a rearing stage lasting 2 to 10 weeks. Most birds become fully independent within 2 to 6 weeks, while certain predatory species require up to 2 1/2 months. This timeline can guide you on when it's safe to intervene.
