"This is an upgraded review after an initial 2-star grading. Responsive customer service to issues with the purchase itself made all the difference and allowed me to keep an open mind as I continued into the installation process. Overall, other than a few "they could do this better" items, the quality, the accuracy, the value, the helpful support team, and the easy installation of my 7 motorized solar shades all point to 5 stars. We followed the measuring instructions carefully and received shades that fit each space exactly as I expected. Installation itself was easier than traditional shades using the solid brackets they provided. Questions I had during installation were answered promptly through Chat. The remote control was a bit of a challenge, so be patient if you bought a multi-channel one and have lots of shades in your room. And for some reason they don't tell you this, but you must have a remote for your motorized shades. The app alone isn't enough. Our only minor gripe is that determining how solar shades look at night was just a game of inference. It would be very helpful to have an online tool available to create your own scene, which includes shade color, indoor or outdoor, and time of day. Even samples don't help much more. Still, I'll return to them when it's time to take care of other rooms. We did this project for 2 to 3 thousand dollars less than big box store quoted us. It was a cinch."

"<p>We were looking for a place to make some exterior window treated into some decorative solution, as it was exposed to the neighbour’s house. We saw Palace of Glass product at one of our local glass shop on display and got fascinated by this innovative product. We end up doing 3 exterior window in the bathroom and some interior doors with the matching design. Staff was friendly and knowledgeble, the cost turn to be less than the stained glass quotes from the local shops. I would recommend them.</p> <br>"

"Working with Renee started off great but went downhill quickly. Initially, I found her likable and approachable. I had seen her store-front which I found appealing and I thought she would be fun to work with. I had already made many of my design decisions before we got to the point of actually beginning the remodel project --- particularly with regard to the kitchen --- but I wasn't sure how to determine what type of light fixture would be workable in the kitchen given the 25+ ft height of my ceiling and I didn't have a great vision for the main level bath remodel. There were a few things where I thought I would benefit from working with someone specifically trained to tackle issues that I found a little more challenging since I hadn't had such training. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The experience of working with a designer was not at all what I expected, and at the end of the day, I did not feel like it was money well spent. If I had it to do over again, I would not have gone this route. I did not get what I needed from working with this designer. She did help me come up with some ideas for the bathroom that I was happy with but my overall experience working with her was not favorable. There were multiple errors in orders she placed on my behalf and her lack of planning resulted in delays in my renovation project (we were on a tight timeline so avoidable delays made me very unhappy). Because there were so many errors made on the invoices/purchase orders (most of which resulted in overcharges) it caused me to lose faith in her ability to handle my orders accurately and it caused a breach of trust. That's a difficult thing to repair once it's been lost. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Perhaps Renee has other clients that are satisfied with her work; if you consider using her, ask for references. (She was not listed on Angie's List; I am writing the first review of her business as far as I can tell.) In less than a week I had a stunning rendition of myself in both pencil and watercolor. Lance is always courteous and professional.
