"I received several quotes for refinishing my floors, some high and some low. Ultimately I went with the provider that understood my needs and was available when needed. Juan was very nice and professional throughout the entire process. During the estimate we walked through all of the problem areas and discussed all of my options. He noticed a section of my floors that were no longer properly glued to the subfloor and therefore created a popping sound when walking across them. He provided me with the option of replacing that section of flooring or repairing it by creating small holes in the floor to insert glue underneath the floors. Because the holes would be barely visible and honestly because it was more economical I chose to go the route of repair. In addition there was also a water spot near the bathroom entrance that I wanted replaced. Because I picked the repair option for the other section of the floors there was a slight mis-communication on how I wanted the water spot to be addressed. In the end we decided to go the route of replacing both the water section and the area where the floors had become unglued. Even with changing course in the middle of the project Juan was still able to complete the project on time. He also replaced and stained all of the shoe molding (correct term?) to match my new floors. I had just had my bathroom re-tiled and unfortunately that contractor had left caulking all around my baseboards. I needed something to cover that up and I briefly mentioned this during the estimate but we never fully discussed in detail. Juan went above and beyond by also adding shoe molding in my bathroom. <br /> I love my floors and I am now scared to put anything on them because they look so great.
