"E&S are professional masonry engineers. They are good in design, punctual with the schedule, and skillful with the stones and the concrete. The retaining wall is sturdy and survived well from the big trucks of a pavement company. The stairs are wider than before, and more easy for aged people to go up and down. It has a complete new look. The small platform was my most concern. With years of raining, it was no longer flat and not safe. Now, it is filled with concrete. Again, it is sturdy. "We had a fairly new home that was 4 years old when we started to see cracks in the foundation. And whenever it rain heavy, water was seeping through the cracks on to the floor.  I called several people to come out and they gave me many different options as to how they would fix it. I was not happy with the advice until a contractor told me about Crack-X. It took several phone calls to finally get a call back. But I was given a quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment at the same time. The employee (Alex ) who showed up was terrific. He explained what he was going to do and proceeded to complete the job. It took several hours to finish the job. He mentioned that their work has a 10 year warranty. He also told me that I would never see water come from those cracks again. It has been almost 2 years since they completed the work, and I have to tell you that Alex was right. There has been not one drip of water that has come from those cracks and we have had many severe rainstorms over the last few years. Mike and his team arrived promptly at 8:00AM to start the projects.  They started by power washing both sets of steps and preparing the work area.

On the back brick steps, they grinded out all the loose, cracked and open mortar joints in the treads, risers, sides and landing.  They repointed all these areas.  They also patched all the areas on the side of the steps that had missing or cracked stucco.  They did an amazing job, the steps look brand new.

On the stone steps on the side of the driveway, they removed the wrought iron railing, took up the bluestone treads and chiseled out all the open mortar joints in the risers.  The repointed the joints in the risers, reset all the bluestone tread and reset the wrought iron railing, anchoring it in concrete.  Again, these step look new.

As it was raining at the end of the day, Mike and the team hung tarps to protect the stairs from the moisture.  Mike came back two days later to collect the tarps and check on the work.

Would definitely use again and have already had Bay State quote on additional projects.
