"I think the finishing around the window could've been a little bit nicer. Our basement isn't really finished. It still the brick wall, cement wall.It just seems like it could've been finished off more than it was. They were quick. I didn't see a lot of debris or anything. I know sawing through cement can be messy but they seemed to be very clean and efficient. They were out here pretty quick. We checked around and they were very reasonable."

"This was the second project that Genadek was hired for.  The reason Genadek was rehired to do work that no other contractor seemed to want to take on was because the company delivers what it says it will.  The first project was an extensive drain tile system with permeable pavers and a french drain, which has provided a beautiful place to entertain as well as much needed management of a high water table.  And when Genadek encountered issues with the high water table, they researched and came up with a plan - a plan that became the solution we had been searching for going on 6 years.
On both projects, Genadek was upfront about changing conditions of the project and gave us the information necessary to make a decision.  At no point was there a feeling that Genadek was doing anything other than respecting us and the financial constraints of the projects.  It is impossible to expect a bid to always be perfect down to the last penny, however Genadek makes a concerted effort to do just that and when they cannot - you will know why.
When Genadek finishes a project, they clean up the worksite and leave it as they found it so there is no delay in your enjoyment.  There is not doubt that this is a company that is choosing to do business the right way - respecting clients - and should be supported for it."

Steve Did an excellent job as the manager of the project in explaining the details of the owrk, and how long it would take.
They understood that I was selling the house, and need it complete within a week for the open house and they did not fail the project.  They performed extra work on the roof line, fixed door trim incorrectly installed by someone else.   They went above and beyond.  The area cleaned up well,  Steve is available all the time, whether I called him morning or night and always ansered "not a problem" no matter what I had to ask, or have them do.  Everyone on the project was professional, they work long hours to get the project done.

"This was the second time I worked with Greg. It had gone so well the first time that I called him when I wanted a 14 x 20 building put on the back of my lot. He impressed me again with his creative solutions to some of the problems I was having, both with build and placement. He stayed in my budget and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. "Cj Craftsman  (Chris Burrington) drew up the original plans for the house and the SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) were ordered off of those drawings. Chris then built the frame of the house with these highly insulated wall pieces, making sure these walls had the correct runs to allow for electricity wiring and plumbing. Chris also installed all of the six super energy efficient windows, built the loft inside, installed the wood flooring and the wood wall paneling. Chris worked extremely well with the other contractors who had to work in tandem with him to make sure everything was right to install the solar hot water, solar air heat, solar electricity and the passive solar. This was all done in three weeks and everything was finished by the start of the fair. This was a major effort, with many, many very long days put in by Chris to make sure it was done on time. "I was impressed with the owner, Bruce Murray, when he did the estimate. He explained that the electric-powered extractor vent was not working and that ridge venting on the roof apex would improve venting. His estimate was the mid-range of four obtained. We paid half and Mr. Murray promised to begin work within 2 weeks. He didn't call or arrive in that time. When I called, he said the rain had caused delays and that we were scheduled for the following week. He also said that our chosen shingle was discontinued, he had upgraded to another shingle which cost $400 more and would appreciate a "contribution" towards it, but we were under no obligation. We refused and he accepted it gracefully. The crew did a good job with just a few stray nails in the yard. However, we noticed there were no ridge vents installed. Mr. Murray explained the roof construction didn't allow for them, so he had installed extra louvred vents, but again I had to ask for the information. The work seems satisfactory."
