The weather did not cooperate on starting the job, but as soon as weather permitted work began and it only took two days. The old fence and posts were removed and new posts installed on day one and new four-foot link was installed with re enforcement along the bottom keeping the escape artist dog safely confined. The results are great. All trash and scraps were removed. Not only does the property look good the quality of the materials and work is excellent. "We had Mike's employees come to our home to check out a funny noise our old furnace was making. They were there on time and found a horrible situation! The furnace was exhausting into our home because of a faulty flue and they also found a crack in the heat exchanger. They quickly repaired the flue and called Mike to check out the crack. He came to our home and assesed the crack, while it meant a new furnace it was OK for a few days until we could have the new furnace installed. Mike gave us several options and recommendations on furnaces with several price ranges. He also recommended to have additional fresh air intakes added to the second story to even out the heat distrubution. We also decided to have central air installed. When Mike's guys did the work I was expecting to clean up a mess where they cut into the ceilings for the intakes and where they replaced the furnace. I was so wrong! When I came home from work everything was spotless. They had cleaned up the mess where they cut into the ceilings and you couldn't tell they had been in and out several times. The house is the same temperature upstairs as downstairs, no cold spots, and best of all our utility bills have actually dropped a little. The new furnace is more efficient and uses less natural gas and the air unit uses less electricity than fans and keeps the house comfortable in the summer. I would recommend Mike King to anyone, his employees are so polite and professional."

"Our home received hail damage during the April 2013 hail storm.  Company was recommended by insurance agent.  The company came and inspected the house for damage and provided a written report and estimate to repair damage.  The insurance company accepted the report and estimate and we agreed to have Hays & Sons do the repair work.  The work was scheduled and completed.  The work was scheduled in different intervals.  A couple of times work was scheduled for a certain day, then had to be rescheduled, hence the B grade on punctuality.  The work was completed and done well. <br />"

"Eric removed two layers of shingles from our 40 year old roof and replaced them with new 3D Duration shingles. The job started with us needing someone to replace some siding on the chimney due to water leaking in behind the siding causing deterioration and paint peeling off of the siding panels. The repair which we were pursuing was relatively small and consequently we contacted several qualified contractors and they were not willing to even come and scope out our job. Someone referred us to Maximus and when I called and talked to Eric, he was willing to take on the project even though it was small. When he showed up to evaluate the situation and give an estimate for the job, he discovered that the cause of our problem was due to the concrete cap around our chimneys that had cracked and separated and allowed water to seep in and deteriorate the trim boards and siding.We agreed to have him replace the siding and trim boards and to replace the chimney chase because his quote was very reasonable. During this same visit, I was asking him about the condition of the shingles on the roof because they had been in place for 20 years. They were showing signs of wear but he said they could last another year or two. I inquired as to the cost of him roofing the house too while he was doing the other jobs for us and that quote seemed very reasonable so I agreed to that job as well. He has just finished the total project in less than a week and everything looks really good. He maintained the schedule that he promised and he was on site nearly every day to make sure things were running smooth. We will definitely call Maximus again when the need arises. <br />"

"Respectable Restoration did an excellent job, and I plan to hire them when I need work done in the future. Eric was helpful, patiently and straightforwardly explaining his plan for completing the work. He took numerous pictures of my roof, so I could see the problems for myself without climbing a ladder.  His quote was not the cheapest, but he did knock $300 off his original bid reducing the difference between his quote and the next cheapest by more than half. <br /> He started the work promptly, a little more than a week from when I gave him the go-ahead. His workers were courteous and efficient. One thing I particularly appreciated was the extensive work he did restoring my lawn. His quote did NOT specify lawn repair after the damage from trenching, but he did it anyway. I've had plumbers dig up my lawn and leave a horrible mess for me to clean up, so I was particularly appreciative of all his work regrading and reseeding. Similarly, they did far more work on the roof than was quoted but didn't charge me anything extra. They also connected one downspout to the drainage system and ran leafguard on a section of gutter that was not included in the original quote, also at no extra charge. In fact, I was so pleased with all the extra work Eric did that I paid him $3400 on a $3300 contract, even though he didn't request any extra money.
