"L&L Concrete Contractors did an excellent job at my mother's house in redoing & widening the driveway to a 2 car driveway. Price was very competitive and Mr. Lozano was professional and recommended stamp concrete on the front porch. The office communicated excellent and the workers were respectful and hard working. Will definitely hire them again!"

"Work was completed as promised. I had thought I would be able to pay with a credit card but had to get cash during the job so that Andrew could pay the ready-mix driver when he delivered the concrete. The finished job looks good."

"Great family business! Father and daughter running it and did an excellent job on this foundation repair. With the price they quoted me was the best among all my quotes. The crew are professional and efficient, they work hard and done it properly. Very responsible for the work they done. I have a question after the work and they showed up next day to give me an answer. Highly recommended for your foundation needs!"

"Peter Dimitrijevic came to my home to give me a free foundation inspection on a house my wife and I just purchased.  Very professional.  He said our foundation was good.  And than spent about 45 minutes going through my home making suggestion's on what we could do to keep it in good shape.  He suggested we seal the concrete inside the home since we had already pulled up all the carpet and flooring; to cut some window screen to the size of business card's and place in our weep hole's to keep out bug's; redirect some rain spout's and why; and several other pointer's that I could do myself that as a new home owner I did not know.  He cared about our home even though he wasn't going to make a penny on it.  First class and would highly recommend!

"Willie and his team did fantastic work. After contacting numerous other "foundation experts", Willie provided the best plan and backed it up with his overall knowledge and certification/training in basement/foundation repair. He and his team do great work and take no short-cuts when it comes to the overall quality of the work. He also was very flexible when other requests were made and he gladly accommodated. He has a passion for his business, customers and takes great pride in his work. The basement and porch are now fixed and look great. Best of all is that we have confidence the work performed will last."

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Texas City, TX

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
