"We obtained 6 bids to replace our roof. Caliber's bid was very competitive in price. It was a very difficult decision as to which company to select since all bidders were highly valued on Angie's List. We have a larger home plus a workshop that was in need of shingles. Spring rains made it difficult to schedule a date but with a 3 day window of clear weather the job was started at 8 a.m. and was completed at the end of the second day at 6 p.m. Workiing past 8 p.m. on the first day the 10 man crew was able to lay 103 squares of shingles in the two days. We were concerned about the hundreds of plants around our property being damaged and made that a priority. Chris the supervisor on the job was extremely helpful and kept the work moving along. "We contracted with Bee Window to install 19 second floor windows in our 100 year-old brick house. They also removed the front entryway that consisted of the original front door and two sidelights and replaced them with an energy efficient single integrated unit with much nicer looking glass than the originals had. They also reinstalled our wired doorbell into the new door unit. The process started about a week after we signed the contract when a measurement technician arrived to take measurements. Several weeks later we received stain color samples and signed-off on them. The office staff was very accommodating in delaying the install date several times when I felt it was too cold to remove our front entryway and replace it. The install of all 19 windows and the front entryway exceeded my expectations and was completed carefully and quickly in a single day. The install crew was friendly and knowledgeable and worked together as a team. One of the trailers that they brought on-site was a mobile metal fabricating shop that allowed them to cut and bend the metal exterior pieces to fit each window as needed. They installed new insulation around the windows and door unit and caulked all exterior and interior joints. At the conclusion of the install they cleaned up around the house and took away all the old windows and door pieces. Over the 40 years that we have lived in our 100 year-old home, we have worked with many, many tradesmen, everyone from larger outfits like Bee Window to smaller one-man operations. I’ve learned that there is almost always a successful outcome when there is a partnership between the homeowner and the tradesmen. I’ve learned to hire people with the experience and expertise for the job we needed done and then work with them to make it happen. I’ve found that when you hire carefully, communicate clearly, and treat tradesmen with respect you will get a superior result. Bee Window was not the most inexpensive choice, but they were the right choice for this project."

"The house looks absolutely great! The siding looks terrific - no tell-tale signs of repair as they gave all surfaces a final coating. The gutters, along with the leaf-relief system, also look wonderful. The owner Paul and his office staff were extremely responsive and helpful. The guttering workers were quite good - they get a B+ for clean-up, as I have found some pieces and small parts in the yard after they were done. Overall the experience was awesome."
