"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"The salesman that quoted the job was clearly more worried about us as clients than making the company money. He offered to quote a gutter repair because there was technically nothing wrong with our gutters as they just needed to be angled correctly. I really like that he offered that prior to offering to replace them. I wanted black gutters as opposed to the white ones we had so we went with new. The crew was efficient and courteous! They performed quality work! They’ve earned clients for life!"

"The technician knew his job and did it well. My only complaint is with the company itself that sets the cost for work. To replace a hose on a hand-held shower, a hose we already had, was quoted at $140. It would have been a 10-minute job. The sink repair was fine."

"It didn't go because I was unsure about timing and our plans. Since our plans are so unsettled at this time, I couldn't make definite plans about anything. It seems like our plans and needs change daily. We are talking about a third person moving in with us, he has pets, we are looking at moving to another home in the area, or out of the area, a town away from here or just staying put. "We had Justin do some other work in our house previously and he has always been excellent. Justin took the time to look at our storm door and the door jamb around it. Water damage and several previous fixes were now causing problems around the door. Justin recommended a new water resistant door jamb and storm door to properly fix our problem. Justin removed the old worn out jamb, inspected the area for further damage, and replaced the new jamb and storm door. He also made sure the door trim inside and out was properly caulked and painted like new including new weather stripping. The door works and looks great now. <br />"
