"Our 11-year old disposer started to leak water from the bottom whenever turned on and eventually when any water built up in the grind chamber. A little research told me the grind chamber had probably corroded through. I bought a new disposer online but since we were having issues with both kitchen faucets, I decided to call a plumber to have all the work done at once. I checked Angie's List and called several plumbers for quotes but since we'd used Taagen before and had good experiences, we hired them. The plumber arrived shortly after the 8 am appointment time and immediately covered the floor with cardboard before getting to work. After checking to make sure all of the new disposer's parts were there, he went about removing the old disposer. While it was out I asked him to check all lines and connections under the sink which he did happily, thoroughly but quickly. The new disposer went in without issue as it should since we were replacing one InSinkErator (Badger 5) for another (Evolution Excel). He then tackled the main faucet which I thought had a bad diverter. He found the real problem and replaced the damaged part. Last was the hot basin c*** that supplies hot water to our mobile dishwasher and had been leaking slightly on occasion. When he was finished rebuilding it, it was solid and worked smoothly without a drop of water anywhere. He walked me through the work he'd done, explained the features of the new disposer as well as some of the idiosyncrasies other owners had experienced and packed up. All the product literature and spare parts were neatly set out on the counter and our stainless sinks were spotless. Overall, he was professional - friendly, informative, respectful and efficient. In and out in no more than an hour, fifteen minutes. We couldn't be happier. We will definitely call Taagen again. <br />"
