"Danny was great! He was very professional and knowledgeable. I first reaced out to him in August 2025 about an issue with my toilet. He was able identify the problem, pick up the necessary supplies, and fix it. He is like a jack of all trades and has skills in many different areas. He also replaced my shower head, and I have a list if other small repairs/projects that I will be reaching out to him about. He is honest and reliable and I will definitley be contacting him again in the future. "

"This is a wonderful, friendly, professional, get it done team to work with! I was called to set up an appointment to get a quote (which I was very happy with!) & they serviced me THE SAME DAY! No multiple appointment hassle! My home improvement handyman was so polite & professional & left no mess when he was finished with the two tasks I needed help with (fixing my leaking sink & re painting the water damage doors underneath) I will absolutely use these Champions if anything goes awry in my home any time! "We hired In Your Home for a laundry room / mudroom reconfiguration / reno and they did a terrific job! I love that they are a small, locally-owned company, specializing in ADA renovations for the elderly and disabled. Everyone who works for IYH is very attentive and accessible. Time from demo to completion was 3 weeks. Had a great experience working with Kristen (consultant / designer), Lee (project manager), and Israel (demo, framing, drywall, flooring, etc.) Electrician, plumber, and cabinet maker were contractors. We had a few small hiccups along the way (as always happens with a remodel) but staff were very prompt and courteous to resolve them. They hire quality people and take pride in what they do. Would definitely recommend!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Tigard, OR

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
