"The first visit they sent out what I can only assume were new techs. Even after being told where the wasps nest were they did nothing with them. They sprayed but we continued to have bugs, ants and spiders. So I called they sent another person out who managed to get 1 wasp nest and spray again. They came in May service was not any better so I called to tell them not to come back. They badgered me about sending someone again. Then they tell me I signed a contract which I did not. Apparently they had my daughter who does not live in my home sign a contract for my home. I told them she was not able to sign any contract on property that does not belong to her. Every couple of months I get a call from a service tech telling me he is 5 min away and again I have to tell them not to bother I don't want their services. I have been getting calls to get me set back up for service or about "my bill" for breaking a contract early again one which I did not sign. I finally explained my daughters mental ability does not allow for her to sign contracts. They had the edacity to ask for "proof" of her disabilities in order to wave this the contract cancellation fees. This was a manager who requested this information about my daughter and he would not stop telling me how he wanted to "fix" my issues and once again send someone out at "no charge" to fix them! What part of NO do these people not understand and why would I have to show proof of my daughters mental capacity to them when it should have ended at "she does not live here and has not right to agree with anything in regards to my property" do they not get. I will NEVER, EVER do ANY business with these people and advise anyone of thinking about using them to run far and fast in the opposite direction!!"

"Tim did a great job. He arrived, reviewed the two nests, suited up, and had both nests removed in about 45 minutes. One nest was in a rotten log on one side of the house, and the other nest was on the other side of the house ... in the wall of the house! He sprayed the nests, and then sprayed a powder on the house siding to help with any yellow jackets entering and exiting the inner wall of the house once he left. When he left there was no activity, and I never saw another yellow jacket around either nest after that."

"There were three phases of work: 1. Trap the rabbits and insure there where no rabbits in the crawl space. This took 2 - 3 weeks. Only one rabbit was caught – there are still rabbits in the area - but the crawl space was deemed free of rabbits. So we could move on to stage 2. 2. Clean up: remove all the vapor barrier from the crawl space and replace it with new vapor barrier. Then ‘fog’ the space with an anti-bacterial agent. The vapor barrier replacement was the bulk of the cost and seems to be a decent job. The first application of the fogger was not done adequately (according to me) but CC was happy to come back and do a more comprehensive fog. 3. A one year guarantee plan that included securing the entire house against incursion and periodic checks. There was some confusion about whether the guarantee included rats and mice (which had not been an issue with us but something I thought we paid for) but CC was good about working through the issue with us to everyones’ satisfaction. Overall the team was professional and good to work with. There where separate teams (trappers, cleanup, back office) and it was not clear that everyone was always on the same page. Our ‘manager’ was the original sales guy and we never really saw him throughout the process. My impression was he was focused on sales and not on follow through. BUT overall the team was good and the co-owner (Tim), who finished up with us (e.g. refogging), was great. I'm happy to recommend Portland Critter Control. Thanks Tim and team."

"My wife and I moved into our home last Nov. We completed many renovations that included lots of dust and the vents and returns likely were never serviced, at least not for a LONG time. So, I decided that I wanted my vents to be cleaned. After an attempted bait and switch from a FaceBook solicitation, whom was going to WAY overcharge me, and I declined their service, I casually asked my HVAC guy for a recommendation. He said use Powervac, LLC. I had never heard of them, but trust my HVAC guy, so I called. My initial interaction with Mary was great. She was VERY kind, caring, and informative. They were booked out a couple of weeks (for obvious reasons). She had me scheduled out to 6/18 on the calendar and would call me if any cancellations. She ended up calling me 2x to move the date up and here it is 6/12 and the work is complete! It's really a cool process and the two technicians, Jason and Matt, worked hard, communicated very well, had a great sense of humor, and their teamwork was outstanding! Many companies have lost the art of Customer Service. PowerVac, LLC has not and in fact operates like a well oiled machine. Saved me $300 over the FaceBook ad. Highly recommend them!!!"
