I first thought this was too much money to spend relative to the neighborhood I live in This is true, because my new stucco job makes the other neighborhood stucco jobs look like crap. Earp scored the old stucco layers, with a circular saw, a foot above ground level, before applying the new stucco system. This was to help prevent ground moisture wicking. I thought this was pretty creative. The work crew was very good with masking off windows and doors. They worked very efficiently, without a lot of chatter. They seemed very focused on the job. The finish around my replacement windows is fantastic. They did an excellent job feathering the stucco from the wall to the front of the windows. My neighbor up the street, had Tesuque re-stucco their home. They used the same stucco brand (Dryvit) and color as my home. Upon close inspection, there is no doubt in my mind, that Earp did a better job of stucco finish than Tesuque."

"The owner personally met with the customer to talk about the job requirements and the price quote.  The company was ready to start within a few days of when we accepted the bid.  The crew arrived on time.  All light fixtures, downspouts, etc. on the surface of the stucco were removed.  A trench was dug all around the house to coat the existing stucco down to its base.  Repairs and patching were done.  I am a particular customer and was present during much of the work.  Any occasional oversight by the crew that I observed was easily and quickly resolved.  Any windows, rain barrels, etc. that needed to be protected from the stucco materials were well masked/covered.  The synthetic stucco color coat was applied in a two step process....first, a hard trowel application and second, a soft trowel application.  Many companies would not do both.  All patching and original defects were well covered and disappeared.  The synthetic coat always was sealed up against any window frame, door frame, etc.  After the stucco application was completed, all lights, downspouts, etc. were reinstalled.  The clean up of project trash, etc. was completed well, but not as completely as my environmental eccentricities would have desired.  But given the quality and speed of the job, I was happy to do the final picky clean up stuff myself.  The house now looks better than with the original, traditional, three layer stucco coating.  I live quite remotely, so it was decided to use a larger crew.  This saved on crew travel down time.  A crew of nine was used and the entire job was completed in three days.
The only significant problem that I found after the work was that the louvers of an attic fan would not open.  The fan had been covered/masked, but the frame of the louvers was such that even a tiny amount of stucco residue would prevent their opening.  I called the evening of the crew's last work day to report the problem.  The next morning crew arrived and quickly fixed the problem before noon.  Especially in New Mexico, work of this quality is seldom found.  The company is located about 60 miles from our home.

"The stucco ceiling on my front porch was cracking and sagging and the metal posts holding up the porch were starting to bow outwards.  George was punctual when showing up to give me an estimate, and he was able to start work on repairing the porch quickly.  The stucco on the ceiling of the porch was removed.  The three metal posts holding up the porch were removed and replaced with a larger post covered in stucco.  New stucco was installed on the porch ceiling and on the walls of the porch.  They did a great job with the stucco, and it matches the rest of my house perfectly.  The job site was kept clean and cleaned up completely when they were finished.  I would not hesitate to use Advanced American Construction again.  My porch looks great, and I now have peace of mind knowing that the roof over my porch will not collapse.

"Business owner showed up at agreed time.  Ricardo was friendly, courteous and clearly knew his craft.  He painted walls that were new drywall and previously spackled.  Including primer, and two coats of cover paint, he completed the job in about 5 hours that included waiting for the first coat of slow-drying cover coat to dry (I supplied the paint). 
I learned a great deal about painting from this gentleman, and he was fun to have in my house due to his knowledge and friendly spirit. 
As to results, the room looks better than I had expected, and Ricardo's work is a real highlight.  I totally recommend Painting Solutions for any painting job and I have since learned that several realtors in Albuquerque use this company to stage homes for sale.  They are fast, efficient and do excellent work.  They came to Belen, a good drive from Albuquerque and refused any additional compensation for gas.
