"I hired Aqua Sewer & Drain to repair a leaking pipe under the slab of my home - by no means a simple job. Alec was clear with my repair options and the cost estimate. He and Jeff together were able to perform the entire repair process including removing and replacing the flooring, jackhammering the slab, and the leak repair itself. Throughout the process, they kept the work area neat and kept me updated on their status. Once the job was complete, it was as if there was never a trench in my living room. I was completely satisfied with their work and recommend Aqua Sewer & Drain."

"Went very well as usual, prompt, courteous & reliable. Could not reproduce the issue on day of but had plumber check pipes in crawlspace just for peace of mind. No issue found, most likely air in the pipes which cleared itself."

"Mark Marotta and his crew were great! The entire team were on time, were very neat in opening replacing and putting back my property when replacing my sewer line. Nicole from dispatch is always pleasant and supportive when speaking with her. I had a billing inquiry that I was working with Amy and both of them came through when assisting me. Overall I am very please with AME and plan on using then going forward for all plumbing repairs."

"Whereas other plumbers quoted me $1000 or more to replace a faulty tub/shower diverter, Chris repaired the existing diverter for $250. He ll be my go to plumber from now on. Chris was very respectful of my home, and totally cleaned up after himself. Who could ask for more?"

"We had a main water line leak between two houses on our property. We received 4 estimates to replace the pipe. All recommended replacing vs trying to repair the pipe. Advanceds’ estimate wasn't the lowest, there was one lower estimate but we elected to go with them because their technicians (Jason and Taz) were so helpful and so pleasant. We felt we could trust them to do a good job as quoted and do it on time. This job was difficult as the main line lies underground beneath asphalt driveway and lawn. The asphalt and the lawn are separated by a low wooden retaining wall. The plan was to dig a trench straight through from house to house and replace the existing pipe with a new pipe. We would later have to repave the trench which would be roughly 50’ long. In addition, we would probably have to rebuild the older retaining wall. The day of the project the owner of the company, Sam, studied the situation and came up with a different plan. He and his team were able to push the pipe through the sleeve which held the broken pipe!! This prevented any need to dig!! No digging!! No breaking up the asphalt, no need to repave, no need to reseed the lawn, no need to fix the retaining wall!! Done. In a matter of hours. Can you imagine our relief? Our actual invoice was for less than half of what was originally quoted. Sam also saved us a lot of money in future repaving and possibly repairing the short retaining wall costs. Sam is not only very knowledgable but is a man with integrity. My feeling throughout this experience with Advanced is that we were all on the same team. Props as well to Isha who works in the office. Isha patiently answered all of our questions and was helpful all around. All scheduling was quick and punctual and we were kept in the loop through it all. A great team who take pride in their work! We highly recommend Advanced Professional."

Customers say: True professional

"I am compelled to write a review. I rarely do this. In fact, I do not do it. Time does not permit me, but I am so extremely pleased with their professionalism... from the office staff up to the field technician guy, Danny. He is such a sweetheart! He did an exceptional job clearing my sewer line. A.J. Perri, could you please give Danny a promotion? I told others about my problem and the quick fix Danny did. They immediately asked me for A.J. Perris contact information. I will definitely recommend A.J. Perri to anyone and also negotiate for Danny to have an end of year bonus (that is how pleased I am with their work)"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Toms River, NJ

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
