"Overall I am satisfied.  However, my shower has a plastic that seals the glass to the door frame.  The technician asked me if I wanted to leave it or if I wanted him to remove, clean, and caulk with silicone.  I told him I didn't know and left it up to his judgment.  After he finished, I went up to assess before paying.  The door looked terrible because he didn't do anything to it (in all fairness he thought he wouldn't seal water).  The mold was still very evident and an eyesore.  I asked him (since it technically was factored into my original bid) if he would go ahead and remove the plastic seal, clean it, and caulk with the silicone.  He graciously did and came down when finished.  My bad for not re-checking because it was no where near as nice as his other work in my shower.  Basically, he half-assed it and didn't clean it before applying the caulk so the mold is showing through.  He also did a poor job caulking.  I know he can do better because he did do better on the rest of the shower before I asked him to go back. <br> <br>The other thing I would not recommend is doing the tile cleaning.  While the tile grout looked great when he was done, it seriously took him 30 minutes to do 3 bathroom floors - they charged me $170 to do the floors and $150 to spend 2.5 hours re-caulking my shower. That's quite the variable hourly rate! <br> <br>Would I recommend these guys?  Yes.  I don't recommend for cleaning grout.  Rip off.  However, because caulking is generally a huge pain in the butt and has a big learning curve, I would hire them. <br> <br>I don't know if I will call them back to re-do.  The tech lives in Logan and they basically have a $150 minimum to come out for a job to warrant the drive, which I understand.  We'll see. <br> <br>"

"Did a great job! Our floors were dirty, as we have ignored the manufacturer's recommendation of annual cleaning for wall-to-wall carpeting (we're new to carpet, having always had wood floors in previous homes). Tom and his team was responsive, informative, and helpful. I will definitely hire him again for regular cleanings! Our kitchen tiles look brand new. Wish I had done this a long time ago."

"I have to admit, I've been a little disappointed in the Angie's list help I've called up to this point. Until today. <br /> <br /> I called Stanley Steemer at 4:30pm, asking a price and how long it would take. They gave me a direct quote, and said, "We can be there between now, and 6pm." I said, "sure!" <br /> <br /> He told me that they would call my cell phone before they came out. Instead they called my home phone, and I wasn't there. I headed out to the rental home, which took :40 minutes from my work. They were already there vacuuming the first carpets. <br /> <br /> They had 2 younger, clean cut, professionally dressed, "local boy", (who spoke native English) carpet cleaners who were efficient, polite, knowledgeable, and got right to work. I had one room that had a lot of tobacco smell in it. I paid extra for room deodorizer, and they even put some of it in the hall, next to that room at no charge. The smell was pretty bad, so I may have them come back on their 10 day guarantee. <br /> <br /> The only 2 things they could have done better was, call my cell phone and let me know, instead of my home phone. (small mistake), and when they were done, they left a large puddle of water on the driveway. <br /> <br /> Other than that, I've always been impressed with Stanley Steemer. I'll recommend them any day. <br /> <br /> =-=-=- <br /> <br /> Update: I did have Stanley Steemer come back and add more deodorizer to the carpet. They sprayed a bunch more stuff on the carpet, told us to keep the doors and windows shut (so the stuff could work on the stinky carpet). 2 days after that, the hardwood floors began to buckle because of the moisture. [I thought, uh, oh... gunna have to change my Angie's list report]. To their credit, they came out with fans and de-humidifiers. Let them sit for 2 days, lifted the carpets, fixed the buckled hardwood floors, (and even helped a lady load 2 TVs in to her vehicle). And, the carpet stink is gone. <br /> <br /> I can't say enough about this company! Sign me up for the Stanley Steemer fan club! <br />"
