He was here checking on the work daily to make sure everything ran smoothly which is rare for a contractor as usually they just come a few times during the process. Everything is beautiful and he went to extra mile to shop with me for the flooring tiles, quartz countertops, cabinets and sink. I'm super picky as an artist / former fashion designer and he was able to help me create exactly what I had designed. He had great ideas such as adding a waterfall edge to the quartz countertop and a window sill piece from quartz as well. This project was a complete gut and rebuild due to a dishwasher leak - homeowner's insurance claim. I was having issues with my insurance and David went above and beyond to help me navigate the insurance issues so we could complete the project. He is always very prompt and organized. Some of the other contractors that I had previously contacted could not even be bothered to give me a call back or show up on time to a scheduled appointment but David was able to meet with me right away and always notified me of the work schedules. Pricing was reasonable and in line with other estimates I received."

Mark was responsive to phone calls and came to the house to discuss the project. He was very helpful with his suggestions. When I went to Conejo Hardwood to look at the various doors, casings and hardware, the salesman spoke highly of Mark as a craftsman. This opinion was borne out by the workmanship Mark has demonstrated. If there was a problem with a wall Mark would show how it impacted his work and then set about correcting the problem. If we had a question about anything he was patient in explaining what we saw. We did not use prehung doors; each door was an individual process. "The back door of our home was from 1964, had a louver window and was completely rotten on the bottom. CSM fabricated a fiberglass door with low e window that opens including the frame and sill. Removing the old frame proved to be quite a task and once removed, the opening required modifications for the new frame to fit. The installation team was great - professional, courteous, skilled and cleaned up beautifully. Michael was very good to work with happily providing a quote and then altering the quote as requested. He even gave a cash discount on top of the Angie's List discount. I would use CSM again and recommend them highly.
