"We had an outstanding experience with Wade's Custom Welding. They designed and created a craftsman-style handrail rail for our front steps that reflects the Craftsman door treatments inside our home. Their customer service was amazing! They stayed in close touch with us through the entire process. We found the cost to be reasonable. If you desire practical metalwork for your home, let Wade's make it elegant!"

"Feliciano was quite simply the most detail-oriented general contractor I have worked with in my renovating career. I recently purchased a row home in Philadelphia that needed a full rehab/renovation from the smallest re-pointing jobs to adding master bathroom suites I have never felt more confident that it was being done correct and with the best finishes available.  After first meeting with Feliciano I knew I was in good hands.  He showed me his work at a few other jobs he was finishing up on with big time developers and these were large projects.  After seeing the sharp finishes he installed I was ready to see his numbers for  my job. After approximately 48 hours he provided an excellent all encompassing proposal for the work. We agreed on terms.
Within a day we began what became my best relationship with a contractor yet.  His team hustles 6 days a week  and never took a short cut.  When he felt I was making a potential mistake with a finish he spoke up, explaining what he thought would help me sell in that particular area.  Seeing this told me he takes his business very personal and he has a unmatched passion for his clients and the properties he renovates. He had his very organized team at the job everyday and we finished within 3 months. Time is money for both of us and 3 months turn time is unprecedented for the amount of work we scheduled.  As a business owner myself I was impressed with the respect his employees give to him and more importantly they gave to me,  the customer.
I could go on and on about his craftsmanship and finishes but I want to make sure he's available for my next reno!!"

FAQs for wrought iron fence repair or weld projects in Townsend, DE

Wrought iron fence installation costs $1,200 to $4,200 on average. Your final cost depends on several factors, including the length and height of the fence, the intracity of the ornamental design, and the quality of the materials used. Iron fences cost $7,000 or more to install on the high end. Wrought iron fences are more expensive than fences made using other materials.

Wrought iron railings cost an average of $2,600, including labor and materials. Hiring a professional to install iron railings is crucial to ensure accuracy and safety. The price depends on the type of metal used, installation location, aesthetic elements, and whether you’re installing it indoors or outdoors. Materials include plain black iron, galvanized iron, and ornamental iron.

You should never paint over rusted wrought iron fencing. All this does is mask the underlying issue, as rust can slowly deteriorate the integrity of your iron fence, diminishing its durability and stability. Painting over a rusted fence also causes poor paint adhesion, which can lead to flaking. Be sure to remove rust and smooth the surface before painting.
