"They came out to pressure wash the deck. Because I was wanting a stain, they had used an additive and stated that it would last for another year and a half before the stain was truly needed. They said the stain would cost another $100 or so. They were a bit vague and I would have appreciated them being more specific about the services provided and their costs, plus the time frame that they were willing to come out to complete the work."

"We obtained several opinions and quotes, and decided to go with Mark and his team because they provided several solutions for the issue: 1) Install pipe underground that connected our sump pump output to a pop-up at the bottom of the yard, so that water from the sump pump could no longer saturate the lawn 2) plant topsoil and grass, so that the water had a place to go instead of just washing the mud down the hill, and 3) redo the concrete step at the base of our walkway with a gradient so that water would no longer collect there. All three solutions worked. We have since had two storms and our walkway has remained puddle and mud-free. Furthermore, Mark was very professional. Proactive communication, arrived on-time as expected. Called before he came by. Mark proved to be trustworthy, and followed-through on everything he said he would do. "We are having a fence put up along our property lines and needed several shrubs and small trees cleared out. I called Freestate on Friday, the 25th and was able to set up an estimate for the following Sunday morning. Ben showed up on time, gave an estimate and confirmed they would be able to get me on the schedule for that week.
He promised to follow up with me right away to confirm the details. I received a voicemail later in the day confirming that we were on the schedule for the following day! We had a couple emails back and forth and received extremely fast responses each time.
As promised, the crew came out on Monday and removed everything. They did a great job clearing everything out without leaving any debris. The stumps were also ground out and my lot looks like there were never any shrubs/ trees planted in that location.
We had a great experience from the first phone call through the completion of the job and would recommend them to anyone needing tree work.

"Great. No issues, and the crew finished before rain started around 6:00 PM, including a careful cleaning of the area around the house. The only weird issue was the way the crew got access to the wooden-fenced (and locked) back yard: they removed the screws on the latch holding the lock hasp to the fence post. The replaced the screws upon leaving. Why they didn't bother just asking me for the key, I don't know.
