"Called Weds morning and David and Kori were there by noon. They hydro jetted the corrugated drainage pipe from the source to the end and then backwards again to remove the obstruction. Free flow of water was quickly restored. They also jetted a second line from the drain site backwards and the return of that one was clear water as well. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Promptness of service, very professional work ethic with great success, and very reasonable cost. Better yet they let this old Do it yourselfer watch and answered all my questions about what was going on. Anyone who needs sewer or other drain lines cleaned or worked on should call Econo Sewer and Drain."

"Ryan and his coworker were very professional and worked very efficiently. Answered all my questions and even took care of a leaky pipe and hooked up my icemaker on my fridge in addition to installing two new faucets. It only took them an hour. "We have had a problem with our main building drain line clogging once a year, every year, since we purchased our home 14 years ago. We had it cleared around Thanksgiving of 2022 and it was again blocked only 2 months later. Fed up, I wanted to understand what the exact problem was, and proceed with fixing it. Tim and I spoke at length and therein I explained the history behind the issue (including experience from rodding the line myself on previous occasions). Tim explained what he thought the problem might be, based on his experience, and discussed various options including firm costs (not the "well, it will cost somewhere between $5 and $50,000" BS). We talked for about 30 minutes whereas conversations with other plumbers usually lasted all of 3 minutes wherein they explained how much it would cost, how they expected to be paid, and when they could come out. Tim showed up promptly at the agreed-upon time with Pedro and the two of them went to work. Without going into details, those two spent approximately 4.5 hours working my issue during which time they mechanically rodded the line 5-6 times, ran a camera into the pipe following each rodding, and then hydro-jetted it twice (might have been three times and they inspected the line using the camera after each hydro-jetting as well). I paid extra for the hyrdo-jet but I knew that they would probably need to resort to this following our phone call and again, I understood going into it exactly what the cost would be. These guys really busted their tails (other plumbers were typically in and out in an hour or less) and from what I could actually see via the camera, Tim and Pedro appeared to fix the problem once and for all. I spent a lot of time with them (as an engineer, I am curious by nature) and I felt like there were times when they could have said "Yeah, good enough" but they would talk and say "yeah, we should really do [this] again." In summary, Tim and Pedro were very professional, VERY hard-working, and extremely thorough, and I received a service that I feel was far in excess of that provided by anyone previously. Tim is the only person that I will call in the future should I need this service again (but I doubt it!). Finally, there were not surprise or escalated costs. Fantastic experience! "This was certainly one of the more challenging clogged drains. Lewis was fantastic. My 100+ year old house as usual threw all sorts of difficulties at him. He stuck with it and when he left I finally had a kitchen sink that drained again. He was friendly, explained everything that needed done and had a estimate before proceeding. Payment was accepted that day. Easiest, affordable and best plumbing experience I have ever had."

"I'll recommend Windy City Rooter to anyone that will listen. My initial call to them was for a camera inspection on my sewer line. Shannon showed up and made sure to answer any questions I had before beginning any work. After putting the camera down the line, a blockage of tree roots was discovered. Shannon went over the options on how to proceed and offered his advice when asked. He gave up front costs on all the options, so that I could make as an informed decision as possible. To make a long story short, I decided to replace the clay tile sewer line with PVC. Shannon got me a contract and I put the 50% deposit down, he also took the time to explain what was and wasn't going to be included in this work. Fast forward to a week later, the permit is approved, materials dropped off and a crew of guys shows up ready to work. Cort took the time to go over the scope of work again and answer any questions I had. Shortly after Cort and his crew started, Max showed up to see if they needed anything. Over the course of the next 6 hours, the old sewer line was dug up, the new sewer line was put in place and the trench was filled in. Cort explained about how the trench will settle and level out and what my city will be coming to do as cleanup. The crew did a sweep of my property to make sure nothing was forgotten or left behind and cleaned up everything. This is all a very long winded way of saying Windy City Rooter did an exceptional job. Oh and did I mention that it was done at a very affordable price? Because it was. After talking with Max, he makes it very clear he want's to save the customer money whenever possible. 5 Stars 10/10 would recommend. If you have any plumbing problems, Windy City Rooter should be your first call."

"I was concerned about mold/mildew we found in our kitchen and bathroom. Not having much experience with this, I wanted a professional assessment. We had a water issue with our kitchen ceiling. When we opened up the ceiling, we found mold there from a sustained water issue.
The fellow who came out was prompt and helpful. He assured me that our mold problem was very mild and that all we needed to do was scrub it with a good cleaner. 
He did not charge for the visit, though he certainly could have, as it took time out of his schedule. I was relieved to hear our issue was not big and could be taken care of easily. If in the future, we have any issues, we would certainly call this company to take care of us.
