"In communications with RainDrop, we specifically mentioned that we needed to replace an asphalt shingle roof with metal roofing primarily due to the roof slope, and some other factors. A sales representative was sent out to evaluate the existing asphalt roof and confirmed that it needed replacing, but afterward, he spent almost an hour pitching various asphalt shingle products. He was clearly knowledgeable and knew his stuff about asphalt roofing. While the rep was friendly, he didn't seem to have as much in-depth knowledge or experience with installing metal roofing. We were confused about why a rep with more metal roofing knowledge was not sent out as we had no interest in the asphalt shingles. Therefore, we ultimately did not feel comfortable selecting RainDrop to install a new metal roof."

"Rufus Aylwin and Aylwin Construction have been operating for years in the Portland area. We find they are easy to work with. This was the second time Rufus helped us out. He was strongly recommended by a friend and Realtor. The roof was leaking and Rufus immediately sent members of his team to tarp the leaking part of the roof It was an old roof and overdue for replacement. The new roof was applied after installing several damaged plywood sheets. We no longer live in the Portland area so this had to handled long-distance. We have confidence in their professionalism."

"This was a repair on my elderly mother’s roof. The staff showed up on time, they were very professional and treated my mom with respect. They did an excellent job and my mother and I are very pleased with the service!"

"Drop down categories dont list what they did. Cleaned moss off the roof & put moss killer on it. Replaced a missing shingle. Cleaned an awning. Put sealant inside a leaking gutter. Were very polite, professional and did great work !!"

"Prompt, Professional, and thorough! Would recommend for an emergency repair of roof."

"Ricardo and his team are the best! We originally hired them to clean the moss off our roof. They were the only ones who got on the roof before providing a quote which was lower than all of the others we received. Ricardo took pictures to show us what was going on up there. After cleaning the roof he let us know about concerns they encountered while doing the job. He gave us his opinion and some options which included repairing the roof or replacing it along with the pros/cons of each. After they finished cleaning the roof we hired them to replace part of our fence. Once again, excellent job! A few months later we contacted Ricardo for quotes to repair or replace the roof. He once again provided us with fair quotes. We decided to replace the roof and Ricardo and his team started the job the next day. Once the shingles came off, the team found that some of the plywood needed to be replaced and most of what was up there wasnâ t nailed down properly. Ricardo kept us informed about other things they encountered and provided pictures and recommendations along the way. We really appreciated the thoroughness of the job they did and their attention to details. We are positive Ricardo and his team have saved us money in the long run. And we loved that they took pictures of everything as they encountered issues. The customer service, responsiveness, work ethic and thoroughness are outstanding. We will definitely hire Ricardo and his team again and will highly recommend them to anyone who has construction work that needs to be done."

"I live on the Oregon coast and had a new roof installed in 2015. It had persistent leak issues that the contractor could not/did not fix. Romvil repaired the leaks, re-built rotted out interior and exterior walls, and replaced our interior sheetrock. They were very clear about letting us know exactly what they knew we needed to have done, before they did it. They showed us computer generated plans that explained why we had problems and what they were going to do. They were totally honest about cost and made sure we had agreed to what it would cost before they did the work. I will gladly. hire them again!!!"

"?????????? Highly Recommend Goldshield Roofing and Gutters! I recently had Goldshield Roofing and Gutters install a new roof on my home, and I couldn?t be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning to the final cleanup, they made what could have been a stressful process feel surprisingly easy and straightforward. One of the things I appreciated most was their honesty and transparency. The pricing was very fair, and there were no hidden fees, surprise charges, or unexpected add-ons along the way. Everything was explained clearly upfront, and the price we agreed on was the price we paid. That kind of transparency is extremely important when you?re making a major investment in your home. The quality of the work was excellent, and the crew was professional, respectful, and dependable. They showed up on time, stayed on schedule, and cleaned up every day. You could tell they took pride in their work and cared about leaving the property in good shape throughout the entire pr"
