"I recently sought help from Dr. Flue to repair a gap that had formed where mortar around my chimney had apparently eroded over time. From first contact with their office, to the final visit and completion of the work, my experience with Dr. Flue’s staff was exceptional… They took time to understand the issue and provide me a simple cost estimate; scheduled a time to come out and shot me a reminder a couple days ahead of the visit; then showed up on time and prepared. Once onsite, they confirmed the work we had discussed would address the issue I originally reported. Then pointed out some significant chimney flashing issues I was unable to see from the ground. These were a result of a recent, shoddy roof re-shingle job done by another contractor. "I called Abbey Road to get an estimate on having a fireplace insert installed in a home I had recently purchased. The girl that answered the phone was very friendly and easy to talk with. They were busy and I had to wait 2-3 weeks before someone could come out and give an estimate (of course they were working around my work schedule which made it more difficult as I cannot easily take time off). Ken came out on a Saturday and was on time and very friendly and easy to talk with. He inspected my fireplace and explained everything about how it was built and what he recommended should be repaired. I did NOT feel like he was pushing to do work that I was not interested in. Everything he said made sense and I feel more comfortable knowing more about my fireplace (i.e. he pointed out that there was brick behind the drywall that surrounded the fireplace opening which I was excited about and I plan on removing that drywall to expose the brick). He also pointed out the the liner that had been installed before I bought the house had been installed incorrectly. He recommended that regardless of what I decided to do with the fireplace, the liner should be replaced for safety reasons. <br /> Ken quoted me a price on a fireplace insert and after researching I found his price was on par with the average for a good quality insert. He was able to schedule the install for the next Saturday (again working around my work schedule) The install only took a couple of hours. When Ken finished, he cleaned up his work area and showed me how to use my new insert. I was very pleased with the whole experience.   <br />"

"From start to finish, the project went smoothly. I did have some wood that need to be replaced but this was not unexpected. 10-12 people showed up and finished in one day. They cleaned everything up. We only found a few nails. They took off Ray St. Clair installed Gutter Helmets and put them back on. This was basically free. Ray St. Clair wanted $1800 for this service (which is ridiculous). In the end, most of the gutter helmets worked but the front of the house. Ray St. Clair did have to come out to replace these at a cost of $500 (which is way less then $1800). They took photos of everything along the way. I did have other estimates that were a bit lower and Ray St. Clair was a lot higher."

"Prior to the roof being replace I had several leaks. They were very professional... took the time to help me understand what work was being done and was very patient answering questions. Quality of work was phenomenal. Work was done very quickly and my home was left clean. After my roof was complete I received aerial photos in the mail on a flashdrive for myself and an extra for a friend. Overall a great experience."

"The sales rep was wonderful. We knew our shingles were old and needed to be replaced. The slew rep asked if our insurance was covering the cost or part of it. We said no. He inspected the roof and found a lot of hail damage. We contacted the insurance company. They sent out an inspector, and our sales rep came to shoe him pictures and to point out the damage, so insurance covered almost the entire cost! This company had a very good selection of materials and colors and the sales rep was very helpful with suggestions. The job was completed in one day. There was a wonderful project manager who was there the whole time, watching that things were done correctly. He answered questions and pointed out problems and their solutions. He had them re-do a small part because he wanted it perfect. All of the workers were industrious and conscientious.They took care to protect our siding, windows and landscaping. They cleaned up afterwards. We are very pleased with the work, the materials, and the professionalism of all of the workers. I recommended them to a neighbor. Another neighbor saw the sales rep come and measure, and asked about having his roof done, and ended up having his done the same day! <br /> I highly recommend Roofing Annex! <br />"
