"I recently sought help from Dr. Flue to repair a gap that had formed where mortar around my chimney had apparently eroded over time. From first contact with their office, to the final visit and completion of the work, my experience with Dr. Flue’s staff was exceptional… They took time to understand the issue and provide me a simple cost estimate; scheduled a time to come out and shot me a reminder a couple days ahead of the visit; then showed up on time and prepared. Once onsite, they confirmed the work we had discussed would address the issue I originally reported. Then pointed out some significant chimney flashing issues I was unable to see from the ground. "Everything went great.  The appointment was setup quickly. They were very responsive. The technician was prompt, and professional.  He did a great job with attention to detail.  Overall: it was everything I expect from a service call.  It seems like the price is a little high, but I've used a "bargain basement" chimney sweep service in the past and I was not satisified with their work.  I will be calling Abbey Road Chimney Sweeps again. <br />"

"I woke up to a cold house because the blower wasn't blowing. I called Kirkwood as soon as they opened, and the repairmen were there in little over an hour. A panel had burnt out, and because of the replacement cost and the age of the furnace, I decided to get a new furnace. In the meantime, the technician fixed the blower so that even though the blower never stopped, I could get heat. They were very clear in giving me my options, and I did not feel pressured or misled at all. I decided on a new furnace, and they were there the next morning to install it. This is not the first time that I have used Kirkwood, and I have found them consistently polite, professional, and honest!"

"From start to finish, the project went smoothly. I did have some wood that need to be replaced but this was not unexpected. 10-12 people showed up and finished in one day. They cleaned everything up. We only found a few nails. They took off Ray St. Clair installed Gutter Helmets and put them back on. This was basically free. Ray St. Clair wanted $1800 for this service (which is ridiculous). In the end, most of the gutter helmets worked but the front of the house. Ray St. Clair did have to come out to replace these at a cost of $500 (which is way less then $1800). They took photos of everything along the way. I did have other estimates that were a bit lower and Ray St. Clair was a lot higher."

"Roofing Annex replaced my entire roof.  From the estimate until final cleanup, all were friendly, informative and professional.  On the morning they were to do the work, the crew first put tarps over my bushes and shrubs and leaned plywood over the windows to protect them.  The crew were all very hard workers.  We had planned on replacing the step molding, but they reported that mine was fine and that replacement would be a waste of money.  Once the job was done, all crew members pitched in to clean up.  They dragged a magnet, several times, over the driveway, patio and yard to get as many of the old nails as possible.  They left the outside as clean as when they arrived.  I would definitely use Roofing Annex again. <br />"
