I reviewed and spoke with a number of contractors, but I hit the jackpot when I met with Dorel of IND Construction. From the initial interview to the proposal to the contract to the demolition through to the rebuild, Dorel, the project manager, always responded to my questions and concerns. The IND team (a shout out to Javier and his crew and Gina and the office staff) worked with Dorel's guidance to produce the best product possible (while all the time working with a forever barking dog). "We just finished having our master bath remodeled by Golan. The workmanship is excellent.  We found them through Home Advisor, along with 3 other contractors. We interview with them all, got written quotes from 3, and chose Golan. The job was permitted and inspected. Jenny was our point person from Golan. She was very helpful and accommodating. My wife and I were responsible for procuring all the 'finish' items. Tile, fixtures including the shower valve, vanities, paint. All the rough in parts were provided by Golan.  From demolition to final inspection was just under 2 weeks. Aside from 6 people sharing one bathroom it wasn't too bad.
