"I was in a bind with a garage fire that left the boiler and plumbing exposed to incoming -23 degrees temperatures of November 30th. The fine people at Alaska's Best Heating and plumbing came over the day I first called and gave me the bad news of having to replace the entire unit. They bent over, through, and under every hoop to install a new boiler within THREE DAYS. Everyone else in Fairbanks and North Pole could only meet a two month out install. My home is safe from freezing because of the kind service performed by Robbie and Sandra at Alaska's Best!"

"I called three months ago to have an expansion tank and zone switches replaced on my boiler. They did not bring out any parts in order to repair. So they come out a second time to do the job. Was it fixed? No, zone switch failed and they left the water off for the basement. Third time they came out they admitted the expansion tank was bad, finally, replaced it, added some glycol to further run up the bill. And now again we are without heat. No problems with furnace for 6+ years until GPS came out and since it has been nothing but problems. Stupidly tried a fourth time to get them to come fix it, but the receptionist was rude and not wanting business. So, I give up. Do not give these folks your business, you will be sorry. Go somewhere else."

"Our septic failed inspection when we put our house up for sale. My husband worked for this company so they offered some employee discount to replace our septic. Because of said discount they felt it appropriate to continuously put our septic on the back burner. They dug the septic out then had to stop to do ?other jobs?. Then we got a cold spell and they couldn?t put the new septic in. All of which our house was under contract, and the last thing we needed to close was this septic put in. During this waiting period the buyers backed out. It?s been 3 MONTHS WITHOUT A SEPTIC AND UNABLE TO CLOSE ON OUR HOUSE BECAUSE OF THIS COMPANY!!! They then fired my husband and are refusing to complete the job. I would not trust this company for as far as I can throw, and the fact they would treat an employee like this is beyond me. Would have been better off without the discount and having a legit company install then to be dealing with the mess Alaska drilling and dirt works has put us in. "
