"Nathan and the entire team over at Blaine Construction are the best! They installed our marble vanity tops and custom marble vanity backsplash in a very high end remodel of ours here in Savannah and did a fabulous job. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thank you!"

"One word: FANTASTIC. We just moved into an old house in Ardsley Park and needed to do some work to bring it up to this century. We found Pro Renovations here on Angie's List, and I am so glad we did. It was a pleasure right from the start-- setting up the estimate appointment was a breeze-- Sophie is a joy and always responsive throughout our project. When they came to do the estimate, we were impressed by Simon's knowledge and professionalism. We know this wasn't a BIG job, just a lot of random things, and he put us right at ease that it was not an issue. The bid came back quite reasonable, so let's go! Prior to starting the project, we had a quick conference call to discuss the details. Simon asked that we do this so that the handoff to the crew would be seamless. As a project manager myself, I LOVED this... no contractor I've ever worked with had ever even suggested it. The entire crew-- esp. Matthew and Tony, are amazing and just a pleasure. They were always on time, professional, respectful, responsive, super hardworking, and went above and beyond. I had complete trust in them that they would take good care of my house. One challenge with our project is scheduling, because many of the doors and vents needed to be special ordered and they were delivered at different times over the span of 2-3 months. Along with my busy travel schedule, it was an arduous task just to figure out when they can come to do the work. But Simon and crew took care of us, and squeezed us in whenever they could, and always made me feel like my project was as important as any others. I have hired many contractors before, and this is by far the best experience that I've had. They genuinely care about their customers, and that is rare in this business. And of course, the quality of their work is impeccable. My husband and I have already started pulling a new list together for Simon and will for sure be hiring them again soon!"

"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"Horton remodeling did a stellar job. We had timing issues and so we had less time than we wanted for the repair, which was supposed to take 3-4 days.. ..Horton Remodeling stepped up, brought extra workers in and did the job twice as fast as we expected and with quality results. They finished the job in 1 1/2 days. I couldn't believe it - I was floored. I highly recommend their services."

"We are postponing the work until December because of things on our end. Getting the estimates and follow-up planning was great. Sophie in the main office responded quickly and warmly to all our enquirers, including late night emails from us, impressive...Two very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly guys came to our house just at the appointed time and carefully examined the damage and talked me through the repairs."

"I was extremely nervous about shipping my vehicle through a transport service, but Guy (my contact at United Freight) was extremely helpful and educated me on all the options available and what questions to ask even of other carriers. He was in daily contact with me, as was the driver who picked up at my door and delivered to my son's driveway in Chicago. The pick up was on-time and delivery was actually ahead of schedule. I recommend United Freight for any moving needs and will use them again!"

"It went pretty good.  They failed to replace water diverters but returned within a few days to re-install after I called.  The new roof looks good, however, many pots and planters on the back side of our home were move around the patio away from the house and not returned but were placed in the yard.  Our BBQ grill was also moved to the yard and the cover was coated in mud and sand from it raining the whole weekend after the roof was installed.  I have found to date about 12-15 roofing nails around the house. One of these was found on the driveway. I also picked up several cigarette butts. We hope that's all the nails. Otherwise we are satisfied with the quality of the work. <br />"
