Kyle provided a few options as I didn't know exactly what type of stone to go with. The estimate ended up coming in over $1k cheaper than the other companies. The job took a day to do and it was all coordinated over email because of my schedule. I just left the gate unlock. It looks great and is everything I imagined. "Dave of HL Design was very professional and a true EXPERT in his field. His quote was the best in terms of cost out of 7 quotes that I received. He quoted and used Nicolock oceanic blue PREMIUM pavers, cobble stone edges, full-nose raven coping, 2-8ft sitting stone wall with 4 LED lights and a transformer. He installed a River Stones in the existing planting bed. The quality of work was great and the patio turned out beautifully! His workers cleaned after themselves each time. "My wife and I have been wanting a patio for a number of years.  Mike came out punctually for our estimate and could not have pleasant and professional with his ideas and kindness.  After talking with my wife and researching the company on Angie's List, we decided to go with them for our project.  We had a plan for the patio but Brian provided some other small tips that has made our project really stand out for us.  
Brian, Mike, and Fernando could not have been nicer guys and were so easy to work with.  When they got here on the start day of the project, I let them know what we wanted, with a few changes, and he provided a lot of knowledge with what could work better with our backyard.  The colors Brian suggested for our pavers was spot on and really goes awesome with the retaining wall.  They were punctual, courteous, honest and hard workers.  I am in the moving industry and always appreciate seeing hard work.  There is no way I would ever think about hiring ANYONE besides Brian and his crew.  Thank you guys for making our yard into what we never thought we could have imagined.  Your guys truly are awesome!!!!   We'll be calling you in a few years for another project!

"Kurt (Distinct Landscapes) performed an exception makeover to our property. We have owned our home for 20 years, with an eye on a landscape design to the house front - that pops. What we inherited were azaleas and christmas trees that continued to grow more expansive over the years. "Mark came out and surveyed the drainage problems that we were having that were causing flooding in our yard and threatening our house. He proposed a very robust solution that provided protection for our home and provided a really nice look for naturally correcting the problem. The team who did the work were great - they worked with Mark and I to implement the best solution to remedy the flooding and provide the best appearing solution. They re-shaped the yard, brought in dirt, built retaining walls, put down sod, put down river stone, and installed drain boxes and piping to control the rain water."
