He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

"Eddie was terrific! Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and conscientious, and he seems to have very high standards. He made two visits to our house (each about a 2-hour round trip drive), two days apart. He probably could have gotten by with the repairs he did on the first visit, but he thought that if he could obtain a few additional parts he could come back and give us an even better final product. The price was very good, too. It was as low or lower than any other service person we contacted. (Incidentally, the second visit added only $25 above Eddie's original estimate - probably barely enough to cover his gasoline costs!). Met with the owner, Larry, to discuss scope. The scope includes some repairs to cables in the attic and we would not know how much repair was required until the electricians checked all the cables. Therefore I decided to go on a cost-reimbursable (by the hour) payment rather than try and do as a lump sum.  At the time I met Larry I also described some other items that I'd probably have his team work on if they finished the attic work early. Larry gave me an approx. estimate of what he thought it would cost - he was about right. We arranged a schedule up front and the 2 guys arrived on time. They completed the attic work quickly (there wasn't as much damage as I feared) and then I asked them to complete the rest of the items listed above. They worked efficiently and got a lot done in the 8 hours. They were professional and knowledgeable and advised me of options on materials and routings of cables etc before they started the work on each item. They did a good job in cleaning up the work areas. I was very happy with their performance and will use them again.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
