He suggested the best type/size of tile, grout color, edging etc. that would create the best look. He took his time and was very detail oriented. He did not take shortcuts or worry about the amount of time he had to spend on the project to make sure it was right. He was willing to negotiate his labor cost upfront and never tried to add additional labor cost even thought the project took a little longer than expected due circumstances beyond his control. He asked for half of the cost upfront and the other half only after the project was completed, inspected by me, and any issues resolved. His estimate was very reasonable, and he was able to complete the job in a timely manner which was important to us since we are trying to sell our home. The crew, led by Alex showed up on time and worked throughout the day. They removed the damaged portions of masonite, and replaced them with hardie board pieces in a manner that you can't even see where the joints are. They caulked and painted the areas to match the existing trim. The job was completed on schedule and the house looks better than it has in years.
