"Mr. Daniel started the project on August 26,2024 he did the bathroom by starting on the bath tub, cabinets, the floor and toilet and he was done September 5,2024. I started calling Mr. Daniel numous times to fix the bath tub wall. Mr. Daniel came out and fix the bath tub wall but it keep on coming off. The bank Mrs. Smith said that she called Mr. Daniel but never got a call back from Mr. Daniel so Mrs. Smith suggested that I put in a complaint on Mr. Daniel because the project wasn't done professional."

Yes, replacing just the bottom panel without removing the entire cabinet is possible when the cabinet frame remains in good condition. This approach typically costs approximately $150 to $200 and works well for addressing isolated water damage beneath sinks. The process involves carefully removing the damaged section and installing a properly sized replacement panel. However, when side panels show signs of water damage or mold infiltration, complete cabinet replacement becomes the more appropriate solution for structural integrity.
The bottom section of a kitchen cabinet is typically referred to as the cabinet floor or base panel. This component serves the critical function of supporting everything stored inside the cabinet. In base cabinets, particularly those under sinks, this panel faces the greatest exposure to potential water damage. When leaks occur, this area often shows the first signs of deterioration. Addressing damage promptly helps prevent more extensive issues that could compromise the entire cabinet structure.
Yes, skilled professionals can replace bottom cabinets while leaving countertops intact by temporarily supporting the countertop during the process. This approach significantly reduces project costs by eliminating the need for new countertop materials. The technique works best with solid countertops that remain in good condition and when maintaining the same cabinet configuration. For installations involving new sink styles or altered dimensions, some countertop adjustment may still be necessary.
Cabinet replacement timelines vary based on project complexity. Single cabinet replacements may require just part of a day, while complete kitchen renovations typically extend over several days. Factors affecting the timeline include kitchen size, cabinet type, and whether plumbing modifications are needed. For custom cabinets, additional lead time for manufacturing must be factored into your project planning. Preparing the space by emptying cabinets and clearing work areas beforehand helps streamline the installation process.
